~~Dipper~~
Keahi sat in panic, the stolen SUV blocking the road. The air was thick with sounds of blaring car horns as infuriated motorists complained at our sudden stop.
Keahi's black slit pupils darted about crazily and she was hyperventilating, her breaths becoming shorter and sharper by the second.
I sat up and chanced a peer over the dashboard for the reason she was freaking out, but there was nothing. Not a single thing. I pricked my deer ears up to listen and that's when I heard it. A twisted, monotonus chanting that had almost a trance effect to it. Keahi had her head buried in one of the out cast blankets and had her hands firmly clasped over her ears.
It wasn't visible to me but it sure as hell gave me major creepo vibes. I could sense a strong, negative energy searing off the road in front.
"You bastard..." Keahi mumbled.
Without any warning, she took the keys out of the ignition and allowed the SUV to slowly die down, undid her seatbelt, unlocked the door and got out.
I watched her with intense, blazing curiosity. She stood in the middle of the road, a bright yellow glow emanating from her body.
I suddenly realised I didn't care that the other motorists would see my mutated body, I only cared for Keahi's safety. She saved me, so it only seemed courteous for me to save her.
I hopped out of the passenger door, ignoring the horrified glares of the shocked tourists and commuters and cantered toward where Keahi stood.
"Keahi!"
Her head lifted and she opened her yellow tinted eyes which were now also glowing.
"Dipper....run!" She cried in agony, "I'm what he wants but he'll still hurt you given the chance!"
I held my ground as a sudden blast of energy hit me square in the stomach.
A loud maniacal laugh filled the air.
"Well, well, well...isn't this nice!"
My head snapped back to Keahi and there was a humanoid I recognised almost instantly.
"It's almost like a family reunion! My wife and Pinetree! Boy, I should use dark energy more often!" Bill declared.
"Get lost Cipher!" I yawped up at him.
"There's that temper of yours again Bambi...I'd learn to control your emotions before even considering taking me on!"
"Bill! Let me go!" Keahi shouted, butterfly kicking the demon round the face and falling to the ground.
Bill clutched his eye in pain for a few seconds before seizing both me and her in a tight energy bubble. Its crystalline walls were gradually closing in on us, with the eventual consequence of being crushed to death.
"GET AWAY FROM MY NEPHEW YOU SON OF A BITCH!"
Bill whipped round and a blue ray of light sent him flying into a nearby rockface.
"Great Uncle Ford! Over here!" I yelled desperately.
The griffin turned and hurried towards the bubble.
"Another mutation?" Keahi asked in confusion.
"Yes, I'm afraid so..." Ford replied sullenly, trying to prize open the sphere.
"Stop right the Sixer!"
Bill was floating a few feet above him with his arms crossed.
"Bill Cipher...what happened to you?"
"I'm so very glad you asked IQ! You see your stupid experiment caused me and all the other Symbol Guardians to be able to keep a secure humanoid form without tiring and reverting back to our true form!"
Ford looked scared.
Cipher loosened his grip on the bubble - much to mine and Keahi's relief - and grasped Ford tightly.
"Listen here Stanford. You're all going to come with me....and you'll co-operate with me or," Bill suddenly flashed red in anger and suspended me in a choke hold, "it's goodbye Pinetree!"
He broke into another strain of maniacal cackling and then Ford did not protest, to my surprise and allowed Bill to take all three of us away.
"This is bad." Keahi said.
