I slammed my fists against the door. It didn't budge.
I was trapped. Great.
The room where I was trapped in question, was a small laboratory stacked with shelves full of glass orbs - weird green swirly gas in them.
"What the juice?" I muttered under my breath. I ran my fingers over the orbs in curiosity.
Mabel's scream rang out.
What was I gonna do?
The air vent jangled slightly.
"Huh?"
A strange blue mist drained through the gaps in the vent and condensed into the shape of Will Cipher.
"Will!"
"Hey Pinetree! I just found you," The demon panted, "Shoot- I mean Mabel's in danger!"
I stared at him. Will placed his hand on the shelf.
"Well I have a plan," I began, "but I need speed and a spoon..."
Will cocked his head like a confused puppy.
"You are in the presence of a demon who could provide you with the spoon and a means to get out of the room." He mused.
"But where's the speed huh?" I teased.
The look of excitement on his face faded.
Will spun round and seized an orb off the shelf.
"This is your speed." He smiled.
I took it from his hands and cradled it in my chest.
"Smash it then!" Will crowed.
I cast it to the ground. The glass cracked and the mist seeped out over my body.
"Erm...what's happening to me?"
A familiar searing pain surged through my veins.
Will's smile tried to reassure me. It failed.
My body stretched and bent, my bones broke and rearranged. It was pure agony.
But it would be worth it to save everyone.
