~~Keahi~~
I rose to my feet. Luntzberg stared at me, his eyes burning with anger.
I cast my eyes to April's body on the floor, then to the shards of crystal in my cupped hands.
This bastard was going to pay.

"What are you doing child? You can't stop me if that's what you're thinking." The professor snorted with laughter.

"I may not be able to by myself, but I know we can." I cradled the shards fondly.

"He's dead. You can't recover him now."

"That is true, but you know what, it's what he gave me that can stop you, you son of a bitch!" My eyes darkened to black with white slit pupils.
I felt pure rage course through my veins. The intense heat rushed to my finger tips and I suddenly launched at the scientist.

"You're going to pay with your life!" I shrieked at him.
My fingers clutched around his head, digging into his porcelain skin, trickled of blood running down his face. His eyes flickered at me. But I wouldn't let go. I couldn't let go.
The two guards ran at me, guns ablaze. That was the last thing they did. Now they are slammed face first in the concrete wall, dead.

"L-let g-go o-of m-me..." He pleaded desperately.

I raised my hand and it ignited into a plume of blue flame.

"No ple-ase I'll do anything y-ou want..."

Too late Luntzberg. You should've thought about that before you acted.

I plunged my fist straight into his scalp, a bloodcurdling scream tearing through his lungs as I did so. His skin buckled and burnt under the flame, melting off his skull and landing in piles of black goop on the floor.

I watched him implode before my eyes. It wasn't pleasant. The man's entire inner workings were sucked inwards to the point that his bone were protruding through the cracks in his cremated skin. As I turned to walk away, I heard his voice hiss quietly, "This isn't the end child...soon will come the day...that you burn as well..."
His ice grey eyes focused on my face. They were full of pain and agony. That stare sliced through me like a knife. Luntzberg's eyes then shrivelled and crumpled into nothing. His dying words swirled round my head like a whirlpool, the look in his eyes haunting me.

Just as I felt like keeling over into a heap, something skittered into the room.
An orange wolf pricked up her ears at the sight of me.
"Who the hell are you?" She growled, "You're dressed like one of those guards..."
I was taken aback. Then something clicked. I may never have met her before but I knew that face, though it was no longer human.
"Ice..."
"What did you just say?! Come over here and say that!" She snapped viciously.
"Whoa! Calm down there Corduroy! I don't want to hurt you! I can help!"

The wolf stopped suddenly in her tracks.
"What? How do you know my name?" I noticed Florei hovering above her head, translucent through the Mindscape. The demon pouted her deep ochre lips and waved her gloved hand.
"I can see you Florei." I murmured.
She blushed peach and phased out.

Wendy stared at me.
"Florei- but- I don't get-"

I looked directly at her and I think my eyes answered her question.

"You're like them!"

"Yes. Now let's go. I think we have some monsters to find." I ordered.

Corduroy nodded and we left the laboratory, which once had been clean and fresh, now had the sickly sweet stench of death reeking from it.
