"You need to tell her the rules. She's gone forgot." James snickered.Great. Just my luck.
___"She's forgotten?" He looked at me with a smirk. That smirk was deadly. It was a smirk saying we're gonna have a good time tonight or rules, that's my specialty.
"No, I haven't! I swear. I remember them." I protested, such a lie. But I made it believable. Like that's preposterous! Oh gosh. I sound like Mary Poppins.
"Name all fifty." Fifty? Oh my god.
"Well, there's the first—" He stopped me.
"Number one there is only twenty rules. Second, you broke the first one already—"
"and fifth." James chimed in. You know I want you dead. Then again.. I want both of them dead. Just the father a little bit more...
'Karma is going to get you.' I think karma already did it's worse.
"Fifth?" He glanced to me, then back to James. Questioning either person. His facial features showed a deep frown.
"Why did you let her near there?" Near where? I was in the other room the whole time. Then I came in here and sat down.
"Cause I needed to see her." Who's her? Unless hers me? But then why would he want to see her if hers right in front of him?
'Get a grip!' My subconscious rang. Fine fine. But when he can't see her, then I realize her is me or not me. Then you'll learn. I think I'm getting a headache.
There was a cold glare in Blake's direction. The father looked sympathetic. Looked is the keyword. I swear I blinked my eyes and both of them were staring at me.
I let out an awkward smile. I started laughing. Out of pure ignorance.
"Ha. Haha." I laughed. Blake's face did not look amused. Cold hard stare. Wrinkles on his forehead. James was smiling. Scratching his man bun. Oh no. I concluded my laughter.
"I'm going to put this away," Blake said abruptly. I stayed there, sitting in the chair across from James. James stayed still looking at me, then towards the window.
There was little light that peeked through. I looked at James then at the window.
The blinds looked crummy. With a used to be a white color. Turning brown, some broken at the edges. But... Awfully familiar.
James felt strangely familiar as well. But he still had that sense, aura of mysterious qualities.
Not in a good way. It'd be ironic if I ever saw him before. I wanted to shiver. What an inconvenient experience if so—
"Judy you have never been so disobedient!" I looked at James that was fidgeting. Very much so. Is he okay? What did I do wrong again? Fuck. I keep messing up!
"James. What?" I spoke looking at him confused. He had a glare etched onto his wrinkled face.
"Go sit on the table." He demanded. Motioning for me to sit their. I scrunched my facial features confused.
