Special Chapter 1: The time that was stopped in the picture (Valentine Special)

Hello~ I'm back again! Pretty fast this time? Sorry but this is a special chapter ><

NOTE: This is NOT Chapter 24. I'll be having Special Chapters too. So this will be my first Special Chapter.

For this chapter, theme is VALENTINE and it's taken from a part in Chapter 21 where Aomine and Mizuki HAVE NOT yet gotten back together. If you don't remember, it's fine too, you'll understand the story without having to re read.

Firstly, this chapter is solely dedicated to @Cece_v for suggesting this idea to me. (I can't believe I was so stupid that I totally didn't think of a Valentine special!) Thank you so much for your suggestion!

Secondly, everyone's suggestions are warmly welcomed and I'll try to add in all the suggestions. If you have commented of anything you'd want to see, I'd have already noted it down. It might take some time for it to come out, but I promise you I'll definitely pen down any suggestions.

Thirdly, I know this is a little late for a Valentine special but... XD lets just let it go, shall we?

Aomine Daiki's POV ♠️

I woke up to the stupid sun beating down on my face.

Tch. It's burning me.

I was, as usual, lying on the roof. Waking up only to realize... I was getting burnt. I cursed a colorful string of words at the sun before rolling into the sheltered area.

I wonder what she's doing at this time.

I covered my hand over my eyes.

Yui, I'm conflicted. I'm really confused. I don't know what's the right thing to do anymore.

It's getting too much to handle. It's getting too much to bear. If it wasn't because of that promise, I'll have quit basketball a long time ago. I hate basketball. More than ever now, I hate basketball. If it wasn't for basketball, I would have been able to forget you a long time ago.

I try to forget you but why? Why do I always end up seeing you inside my dreams. Are you doing this on purpose? Are you trying to make me hate sleeping too? Depriving me of the only thing I take comfort in. My only form of escape. From this torture called reality. Are you trying to steal that too?

Why? Do you find it fun?

If I've already decided to leave you, just get out of my sight already!

I turned to my side and held out something from my pocket.

A small girl stood smiling so blissfully one would think she'd won the lottery. But in her hands she held countless sweets and chocolates so I recognized this picture at first sight. It was valentine. There was no doubt. She always look too happy at this time.

It was, a picture of her from Kise's album.
