Kate's POV
I was resting at home drinking some tea when lanie called, she was making sure I went to the doctor today. She had already called 2 times before.
"I'm going right now", I said as I was setting down my tea and getting ready to leave.
"Stop worrying Lanie, I can take care of my self" I said as I was starting my car.
"I'm just making sure you're okay" she said, "I'm worried about you Kate.
"I'm find" I reassured her. I'm going to the doctors, I needed to get a check up anyways" I say
I walk I to the doctors office right as an attending calls my name. "Yes?" I ask
"Please fill this out", she handed me a form attached to a clipboard with a pen.
'Okay" I respond and bead to a seat. My name, date of birth, etc. All the stuff needed. I handed the attending mg form and walked back to my seat.
"Katherine Beckett?" The doctor called.
'Yes?" I asked standing up.
"Please come right this way" he said.
"What seems to be the problem?" He asked when we were in one of the back rooms.
"My stomach has been hurting more than ever before" I said.
"When did you stomach start to hurt?" He asked.
"Earlier today, I was st work and it hurt so I went home and rested" I told him.
"Okay, I'm going to do some tests so you just sit tight okay?"
"Okay", I responded as he walked out
