Kate's POV
"The account is a family fund. The money comes from deaths in the family. Aunt, uncle, grandparents..."
"Espo, find out how all these relatives died"
"Okay"
*end of the day*
We spent all day working on paper work and searching murder files.
"All know existing relatives on her fathers side were declared dead. From a house fire. Her mother was adopted and her adoptive parents died of natural causes years earlier. Young Miranda was spending the night at a friends house when all her relatives gathered. The house was believed to be set on fire but no proof was ever found."
"Poor Miranda, 15 years old, goes home one morning to find her parents and relatives gone. What happened to Miranda after the fire?" "Her 22 year old half brother took her in until she moved out shortly after she turned 18. Her brother died a year later to cancer."
"So why was she living as a poor grocery store clerk if she had all this money?"
"Since her father was an only child all their family's money was set up to her in their wills, she wouldn't receive the money until she was 21."
"Maybe Miranda figures out that her family's death wasn't an accident and started looking into the case. That would explain the packages at work, she was requesting her family's case files but didn't want it to be traced to her. Sue probably wanted to figure out who did it before they could come after her, that explains her telling Justice it was life or death."
"Espo, find out who would have wanted to cover up who killed Miranda's family, as for me, I have a hot date with that doctor"
