A/N: I swear, I solemnly swear, the chapters do get better, longer and better.
Trust me.

"35, 36, 37! Let's go let's go let's go! You think you want this! You have to work for this! Move it!"
Want to yell any louder?
Really, it's nine in the morning, and I'm not in the mood for sit ups.
Exhausted I stop and collapse on the mat huffing. "I can't do it anymore."
My brother Josh passes me my water bottle as I gasp for air.
"Don't give me that crap Jess, I know you can do more than that."
Opening the cap, I take generous amounts of sips and sigh happily as the cool liquid travels down my dry throat.
"I'm so tired though, can't we just call it quits today please?" I ask him.
Dragging out the last word I look up to my brother and give him my best innocent looking face. Ignoring the sweat from the two hour workout I just did with running more laps around my pack's border than I probably should.
"Nope I cut you off some slack last week, but not this time. What's going on with you Jess? You're not like this. You're a warrior one of the strongest in the pack, you should be able to do these sit ups no problem."
Oh yeah, I may have forgot to tell him about the double cheeseburger I had yesterday, which went straight to my hips.
Thinking back to that day when I went out with my best friend Alexis and we went to this restaurant that was small, but made an awesome burger. We had literally begged her dad to take us because we weren't necessarily allowed to go according to these bullshït rules called "curfew" or "off the border at night isn't safe."
Since Alexis' dad is the Beta of the pack and my father is Third in Command, we had an advantage. Not forgetting either that my dad also trains all the Warriors when he isn't doing something for Alpha Demetre, which is the name of our Alpha. He's actually a really nice guy and has two adorable pups with his mate and our Luna Savannah.
"Jess"
"Jessica!"
"JESS-"
Cutting Josh off mid sentence I use a gift I have. Something that pisses people off unless they have a sense of humour. Which I am known for around my pack.
Sarcasm.
"Yes? Can I help you? Is there something you need?"
Huffing he responds "I can't stand when you do that"
"Do what my dear brother?" I question knowing exactly what I'm doing.
"That!"
Laughing at his complaint, I get up off the mat and dust my butt off because I know there is dirt on my shorts. Somehow, dirt always manages to get on the mat and my shorts. Straightening out my clothes and fixing my ponytail that holds thick locks of brown hair, I'm interrupted by a voice anyone could recognize.
All pack members meet in the centre of the arena in 5 minutes. Anyone late and punishment will be given.
My Alpha's voice pops into my head through the mind link that every pack member has in the Silver Paws.
"Alright let's go" Josh and I say in sync.
Well, that's what you get when your twins. Not to mention the only twin werewolves in America and Canada. Which by the way makes us a tiny bit special.
Laughing it off we head out to the arena. Not knowing what the pack meeting is about, but somehow getting a feeling that everything will soon change.
