A/N: Keep Going.

I've never really taken into consideration how big my pack is, but now as I'm standing completely squished between huge, bulky guys who's shoulders are bigger than their brains, I think it's safe to say.

It's too big.

Laughing to myself, you said 'it's too big.'

"Move you idiots" I hiss as I elbow my way through the crowded arena. Looking like a complete fool trying to find the short, blonde girl, I hear her voice.

"Jess I'm over here!"

Sighing in relief I walk over.

"There you are. Why couldn't you just have waited out in the front by the entrance?" I asked her.

"Well because umm.. I-i.."

"You saw Brandon didn't you?" I asked already knowing why she went inside without me.

Brandon is one of the hottest guys in our pack. Basically every she wolfs dream mate. With his messy, dirty blonde hair, blue eyes and not to mention, he's ripped. Like washboard abs 'I could eat a dinner off his stomach ripped'. He's definitely a heartbreaker though.

Timidly responding she says in a shy voice "Yeah..."

"Lex, you got to stop drooling over him. One day you're going to find your mate and so am I, don't get your hopes up."

She knows that ever since we turned eighteen two years ago we were both upset that we didn't find our mates, but as they say, good things come to those who wait. Now that I'm twenty years old, I haven't really thought about having a mate. The only time I ever got excited about it was when I turned eighteen, but since than I guess you could say I gave up. Not that I need a man in my life, I mean I'm pretty busy all the time with training, fighting, and doing work for my dad.

Usually Josh helps me and we get things done faster, which is a bonus. Josh and I have something different than what other wolves have. Since we are twins, we're able to feel each other's emotions. Just like how mates can through their bond, but we also have power over the other wolves.
We can move faster, think faster, fight faster. Basically every element about us is enhanced a few levels, but like I said that's what you get when your twin werewolves.

"I know, it's just..." she pauses.

"Just what?" I ask slightly aggravated by where this conversation is going.

Shaking her head she ignored me and says "Never mind"

A few moments pass and I respond with a simple 'okay.'

Everyone soon quiets down as
Alpha Demetre walks up onto the platform getting ready to share with us what he needed to say.

"I'd like to start off by saying a quick thanks to all of you for coming, and being on time" he says in a strong voice full of authority.

A series of "You're welcome Alpha" goes around and many people respond in sync. As do I, for respect.

"I would like to inform you all, that I have been contacted by Alpha Elijah Mennox from the Blood Shade pack"

That's strange I thought.

We are never contacted by Alpha Elijah, most of us haven't even met him. For example me. I've heard a lot about him, and the 'cruel' things he's done to other packs, but I can't really picture him being as ruthless as they say he is.

Cutting off my thoughts, my Alpha continues.

"He has explained to me about a recent rogue attack onto his pack that he was not prepared for. With over 50 rogues attacking them wanting a taste for blood. Ten of his warriors have been seriously injured and will not be able to recover soon, even with their werewolf healing."

Everyone in the room gasps. Astonished, they all start talking and asking questions, while I remain silent letting the news sink in.

"What happened?"

"What rouges?"

"Why would they do this?"

"Were any of them hot?"

Turning around, I look to see Brandon standing next to Josh.

Leave it up to him to ask a stupid question like that. Alexis slightly giggles under her breath as she covers it up with a fake cough.

"He has asked me to meet up and to bring some of my warriors, to go to his pack."

"Alpha how many warriors does he need?" A boy asks from the crowd asks.

Responding in a gruff voice he says "I'm not sure young one, but I hope it's not a lot. I'm going to need some volunteers to come with me for the meeting. Maybe then, Alpha Elijah will choose some warriors to stay with him and fight for his pack until his own are recovered."

That's completely absurd. Why would any of us want to volunteer to fight for a pack that isn't our own? Why would Demetre ask us of such a stupid thing, and to take it so easily like it's not big deal to just hand over warriors to this Alpha Elijah.

Alpha Demetre looks over at me like he knows what I'm thinking, and I just respond with a sheepish smile as he rolls his eyes, but I slightly see his lips tug up into a small smile.

"Hey we should volunteer to go" Josh whispers from behind me. I turn around and give him a look that says 'are you dumb?'.

He chuckles and says "C'mon Jess if we go, Alpha Demetre will think we're good warriors and it will put a good word in for our name."

Thinking over his reasons I'm not too fond of the idea

"I don't know Josh... We don't even know this Alpha and we've never even been to his pack before. All we've heard is stories about him and who knows if any of it is true" I explain trying to get my point through his head.

He huffs and crosses his arms over his chest and slightly growls.

"Does that even matter? Why can't we just go because we want to go? Plus it would be good to get out of this pack for a couple of weeks. I'm sick of seeing Brandon's face everyday" he chuckles

"Hey!" We hear Brandon's voice to the side.

Snickering under my breath Josh starts whining.

"Please Jess! Please" Oh no. He's doing that thing where he gives me puppy dog eyes and pouts his lower lip.

Look away Jess. Just look away. Do not be dragged into your brother's manipulating ways. Do not look. Do not look.

Forcing to keep my eyes down I end up looking right into his dark brown eyes identical to mine.

Giving in I tell him "Fine! Whatever. We'll go and be warriors for this Alpha" I huff out.

"Yes!" Josh whispers to himself. "Thanks Jess, you're the best"

"Yeah, yeah" I respond now annoyed.

Paying attention to the details of what Demetre is saying, he continues to speak "Here will be a sign up sheet outside the pack house on the board for those willing to volunteer, as well as the things you will be needing if you decide to join."

The board is where all the pack information is. It's pretty much a huge piece of paper with pins and tacks on it holding up papers and whatever else is on it. Pack members can come and put things like flyers on it, news about events, or even when a group is going hunting. That's how we organize a lot of our things around here.

"The meeting will be in a weeks time from today, so those who wish to sign up must do it no later than the end of this week. Thank you that is all, you are dismissed"

As our Alpha let's us go, we quickly exit and start to head over to the pack house, where the board is.

Josh is practically jumping for joy, so I kick him in the shin to calm him, Alexis is staring dreamily at Brandon's back as he walks in front of us talking to Josh about a hockey game that was on the other night, and me.

Well I got a tingly feeling in my gut, and trust me, it definitely wasn't from the cheeseburger.

A/N: C'mon, keep going. Don't quit now lol.
