A/N: You made it, congratulations. Give yourself a pat on the back.
I'm waiting near the boys, while Lynn is in the woods with Alpha Elijah, and I start panicking.
What do I do?
What do I say?
He'll probably think I'm ugly.
Oh God, what if he thinks I'm ugly?
Wait, I don't care what he thinks.
Laughing out loud, I get a strange look from Cole, as he starts walking towards me.
"You okay Jessica?" He asks giving me a crooked grin.
Giggling slightly I look past him at Josh and Tristan, "I'm fine, just hyped that's all."
"Hyped?" He asks raising an eyebrow lightly chuckling.
"Yeah..I guess.. I.. uh.." Giving up, I huff out "Oh come on Cole, You know what I mean."
Crossing my arms over my chest in a childish way, he laughs and flicks my nose in a playful manor.
"I know Jess, I'm just messing with you. Don't worry about it though he's really not that bad, a little intimidating, but everything will go fine."
I give him a look that says 'Really?'
"You'll be fine" he says trying to reassure me.
An enthusiastic yell interrupts our conversation.
"DAMN! THAT IS ONE SEXY MOTHERFÛCKER!"
"I SWEAR TO GOD I HAVE NEVER SEEN A BETTER LOOKING MAN IN MY LIFE."
"IS IT HOT IN HERE? OR IS IT JUST ME?"
Both Cole and I are full on laughing by now as we hear Lynn scream.
"Oh don't hide it, I see you over there curly, blushing, getting all flustered" she points at one of Alpha Elijah's pack members.
"I see you" she winks causing him to blush even more.
"Shut it red head" the rude blonde guy says, as he stands next to his blushing friend.
"Eat a dïck moron" she responds back fiercely.
"Jess, it's your turn" Cole says to me as I look up at him. Giving me a small smile, he gestures towards the woods.
Turning towards the trees, I get that same tingly feeling in my stomach. Jordan seems to be jumping up and down in my head and I have no idea why.
Pushing away the thought, I continue my way through the forest. I squeeze through the small spaces of the trees, not having a clue where I'm going, because those idiots never told me where to go.
All I hear as I walk, are the sounds of the leaves and branches crunching beneath my feet, and the birds chirping. The smell of wood and grass is overwhelming, as well as the smell of cinnamon and musky male scent.
Wait cinnamon? I thought, as I hear Jordan start to purr.
The woods don't smell like cinnamon, but let me tell you, it smells good. Taking over my senses, I stop for a moment, and close my eyes taking in the air as I enjoy the peaceful sounds and smells I'm surrounded in.
My peace is interrupted by a smooth, deep voice from behind me.
"May I ask why you are smelling the air?"
My eyes shoot open and I remain frozen in my spot. That smell, cinnamon, that's what it was.
It was him.
