"What the fuck do you mean you've never had a Big Mac?"

Looking over at Elijah in the driver seat, he has an incredulous look on his face.

"I mean exactly what I said, I've never had a Big Mac."

"Jess" he sighs shaking his head, "Have you even lived?"

I stare at him for a moment with my mouth agape. "Yeah I have lived, and I know you have too, you old man."

"Me?" He growls throwing me a thunderous look over his shoulder.

I suppress a laugh as I see his hands tighten on the steering wheel.

"Face it Elijah" I sigh out sarcastically "You're old, a little too old for me actually."

Suddenly the colour drains from his face as he looks over at me while stopping the car in the middle of the road.

"You don't actually mean that, right Jess?" He says hesitantly.

It seems all his big Alpha exterior has worn out.

Aww, what a cutie. Jordan purrs out in my head.

I know, he's adorable. I respond back.

Looking at my mate straight in the eyes,
all seriousness has left. They're yet still full of life, humour, bright sunny days, and even cold winter nights.

What the hell does that even mean? Jordan questions.

I don't know, it sounds cool though. I respond laughing as she joins in.

Deciding to mess with him, I continue on my conversation.

"Yes Elijah I do, you're old" I say.

Confused, he reaches up a hand and scratches the back of his head, while his face softens immensely and makes him look younger than he already his.
