I woke up to Kerri shoving me awake. "What?" I groaned. "We're in PA. Give us directions." I looked at my surroundings and saw we were in Harrisburg. I sighed and grabbed the GPS because I didn't feel like giving directions. I curled my feet onto the seat and looked out the window. I then heard my phone go off. I saw my screen light up with a text message from Sal. He said, 'Call me.' I sighed and said, "Pull over." Kerri's friend, Shauna, listened and pulled over to a parking lot. I got out and dialed Sal's number.

"What the hell do you want?" I hissed when he answered. He sighed and I could picture him rolling his eyes. "Please come home. What I did was wrong. I'm sorry." "Sorry! You think that changes the fact that you physically hurt me?! Do you have a mental disorder?" "Look I know you're mad, but please I need you." "No. I'm not coming back." "Fine. Do it the hard way then. I know exactly where you are. I can track your phone." My eyes widened and I slammed my phone to the ground watching it shatter to a million pieces.

I got back into the car and there was a silence I didn't like. "What?" "What the hell was that for?" "It was Sal. He can track my phone so I mashed it to the ground." Kerri and Shauna started laughing and I smirked. "Yeah. It's funny I know. Now drive your asses to my house." They laughed and Shauna pulled back onto the road.

30 minutes later

We pulled up to my house and I anxiously got out. I opened the garage door and Shauna and Kerri gave me the look, 'what are you doing?' "Oh don't give me that. It's my house. Let's go." They sighed and followed me in. I slowly walked up the steps and called, "Mom? You home?" She ran down the stairs and hugged me. "Oh sweetheart I missed you! Where's Sal?" "About that...." "What happened?" I gulped and leaned against the front door. "He may have slapped me because he's gonna be a father," I whispered.
