My POV

I heard a screech and turned around. I knew that car and that car hit Sal. "Sal!" I screamed. I ran to him and I felt someone grab me from the waist. Joe. I screamed and kicked him, hard. I then twist his arm and had my foot on his neck. I then pressed my foot down, breaking his collarbone. I stepped off and fell to the ground next to Sal. "Sal wake up," I cried. He didn't move and I screamed for Kerri. She ran out and I looked up, which wasn't a good idea. Emily was standing at the door. "Daddy?" I heard her ask. That made me cry and pull Sal to my lap. "Sal, please. Emily needs you. You can't leave her. Please," I sobbed. I then picked Sal up and gave him to Kerri. "Take him," I whispered. I then walked to Emily and she backed into the house. "Emily, it's me, mommy." I saw tears start to run down her face and run to me. I picked her up and held her close. "Haley wake up," I heard a frantic voice say.

(Surprise bitches.)

I shot up and threw up into the trash can next to our bed. I felt Sal rub my back and I started crying into his shoulder. "Baby what's wrong? What happened?" I shook my head not wanting to talk about it. I grabbed his shirt into my hands and he held me close to him. "Haley, you need to tell me what happened or I can't help you." I shook my head again and cried harder. It was just a dream. I didn't really leave Sal or Emily. I felt Sal hold me and lay down carefully. I held on as tight as I could and couldn't stop crying. "Shh. Everything is okay," he soothed. I just gripped his shirt tighter and started having breathing problems.

"Breathe, Haley. You're fine. I'm fine and Emily is fine. I'm here. Everything is okay, I promise." I tried to calm down and match my breathing to his, but I couldn't stop thinking about that nightmare. "Nothing happened. It was all a dream. Everything is fine." I eventually calmed down but didn't loosen my grip. Sal continued to hold me tightly to him and rubbed my back. I finally loosen my grip and fell asleep.

Sal's POV
It hasn't really been 3 years...so Sal is 21, I'm 20, Emily is not a year old yet, and the twins aren't born.

It was 2 in the morning and she finally fell asleep again. I wanted to know what happened, but she wouldn't tell me. It had to scare the shit out of her though. I mean she literally would not let me go. Her worst fear was losing me or me leaving or whatever, so I'm thinking it has to do with that. I sighed and looked at her sleeping form. She was curled up in a ball and held her knees close. I brushed her hair out of her face and kissed her forehead. I needed to get something for her, so she would stop waking up every night. I could tell she was tired because she was snappier each morning. I then felt her take my hand and I squeezed it. I smiled and fell asleep.
