My POV

He looked at me so confused. I sighed, "Sal, I don't have amnesia. I forget certain things, yes, but I don't fully have amnesia." He looked like he was gonna cry and I actually grabbed his hand, no longer scared of him. "Why would you lie to me?" "Sal, I had to. If I didn't, I wouldn't be protecting our daughter." He looked at our hands intertwined and kissed my hand. "I'm so sorry I hurt you," he whispered. "Sal, look at me," he lifted his head up and looked at me, "I said I forgave you. I'm alive. I'm okay." "I still hit you."

"Sal, you didn't hit me, the demon did. You had no clue and I had no clue. Just be glad when I ran off because you could've harmed Emily. I wasn't risking her life. It was either sink or swim and I wasn't sinking. Look where we are now." "Staten Island." "Sal, I didn't mean by that." "What did you mean?" "Think about it." His eyebrows furrowed and I chuckled. "I don't know...Tell me." "Sal, "Look where we are now" means together in a more complicated sentence according to you." He laughed, "So we're together?" "Will this answer your question?" I asked grabbing his face and kissing him. He smiled, "Yes, yes it does." "Good," I whispered underneath his lips.

He then pulled something out of his pocket and put it on my finger. It was something I haven't worn for a year. My wedding ring. It felt like I never took it off. "You kept it?" "Of course I did. I never took mine off because you didn't get divorce papers, therefore, the whole time you were gone, we were still married." "When did you become so smart?" "I've always been smart, just not on Impractical Jokers." I smiled and ran my hands through his hair remembering the blonde wasn't his natural hair color. "Tell me why you bleached this?" "I needed a change. I had to make positive changes, so I did." "You know that's why I love you." "I love you too." He then kissed me again making my heart race. After we pulled away, the doctor then came in and said, "I have wonderful news!"
