"Because Sal, she tried to fight. She's losing it. She won't win. I'm sorry." "You're wrong Joe. She's a fighter. You don't understand her like I do." "To hell, I don't. Of course, I understand her. She's confusing, yes, but I understand her." "You. Don't. Understand. Her. Like. I. Understand. Her," I growled. Joe sighed and rolled his eyes. It was quiet after that.

5 hours later

I think I fell asleep because Joe was shaking me, "Go see her." "Is she okay?" "I don't know. Why don't you go see?" I got up and followed The Doctor. (Only some people will understand this. Doctor Who. The Doctor 😏 ugh I'm such an idiot.) She leads me to Haley's room and before I walked in, she grabbed my shoulders and told me this, "She has amnesia." I could feel all the color drain from my face and I nodded. "You'll need to help her remember. All we know is that she knows only the bad. She doesn't remember anything else." I nodded again and walked in. Haley looked at me and I smiled at her.

"Who are you?" "I'm Sal, your husband and the father of our daughter. You might know me as Ja'crispy." "I'm married with a child? I'm only 20." "And I'm 21." "Wait a second. Do you know the person who tried to choke me?" I was so confused then saw the marks on her neck. They looked fairly old. Wait the old house. She was choked by the ghost. "Um...Do I sound crazy when I say a ghost did?" "Just a little, but that makes sense because if it was a human they would've been gone by now." I smiled and laughed, "Yeah, they would be."

"Okay, I have another question." "Shoot." "Did you hit me?" "Well...I mean I technically didn't, but yes," I sighed hanging my head low. "What do you mean by you didn't technically hit me?" "Well at our old house, it was possessed and I guess the ghost possessed me, but I wouldn't actually hurt you. I never could." "How do I know that you're not lying?" "It's easy to tell when I'm lying. You would've figured it out by now."

"Are you sure?" "I know you would be able to tell if I was lying because I could never lie to you." She looked like she believed me and I sighed in relief. "I'm sorry that "I" hit you. I never want to hurt you. You're too precious to me," I started crying. "Sal, calm down. It's alright. It'll be okay. I'm okay. You saved me from dying. I thought for sure I would've." "Wait what do you mean?" "Sal when I said I'm sorry and I love you, it meant I forgave you if I died."
