I'm thrown on watch everyday while everyone whispers around me. Its fantastic. Carl is the only one fully on my side and he's what thirteen? I sat up on the guard tower watching for anything out of the ordinary. My plan worked with the horse and we haven't had a problem with the walkers lately. "You ok?" "I feel like shit.." "Have you told him yet?" I laid back on the concrete and looked over at Maggie. "I'm not going to. The prison doesn't trust me making it harder for them to trust Daryl. So he's stressed out enough."
"I believe you. I didn't at first until Glenn and I talked it out. It's just Rick, Carol and Beth but it doesn't matter what she thinks." "Her opinion matters." She laid next to me and looked up at the clouds. I placed my hand on my stomach and smiled. "You're running out of time Grace. He's going to notice." I sighed knowing at one point I was going to need to tell Daryl I was pregnant but I needed to talk to Rick first. I needed to be able to trust the people here and I need them to trust me as well or I'm going to be living in the watch tower. I left Maggie on watch and went back in the prison. I ignored everyone and found Rick in a cell holding Judith. "She's getting big." "Yeah she is." "I need to talk to you Rick. I need you to trust me. I don't know if its fear that is making you push me away but the thought about me betraying you is kind of out there." He laid Judith down and turned towards me. "Is that right?" "Yeah. Especially after everything I've done for everyone. Kind of seems stupid risking my life for people I'm going to kill." I tried to lighten the situation but it didn't work.
"I'm sorry but I can't take the chance. I'm sure you can understand if I ask you to leave." "You'll be losing Daryl." "I want you to leave alone." I was shocked at his request. I was pregnant and he was asking me to leave without telling my husband. "I'll leave at night fall." "Good choice." I walked away from him and went to my cell. I packed my bag and slid it under the bunk so Daryl wouldn't expect anything. Almost as though his ears were ringing he appeared at the door. "Where have ya been?" "Watch tower. Not welcome in here remember?" I put my arms around his neck and his arm snaked around my waist. "They're just scared." I nodded holding back my tears. I leaned my head on his chest and felt terrible about leaving. Everyone leaves him and now I have to do the same thing. Hopefully he won't come after me. I wanted to tell him about the baby but he would be on my ass every second making it impossible to leave. I was going to miss him more than I think I can stand.
As we laid together on the small bunk I slid out of his grip. "Where ya going?" "I heard Judith crying. I'm going to check on her." He nodded and rolled over.  I put a note on the chair for him to wake up to. I grabbed my bag and went through the tombs to the other exit. I ran around the prison and grabbed a horse. I walked through each gate with it and disappeared into the night. All I knew was that I was headed North.

     *Daryl*

I woke up to find Grace already up. Everything seemed off when I got dressed. I looked around and saw a note on the chair. "The hell..?"
        'Daryl,
I know you don't want to hear this but I'm gone. You won't find me again trust me. They were right I was helping the Governor. I love him and used you as a cover so no one expect anything. Don't think about me because I wont be thinking of you. No one will ever think of you. Good luck out there try not to get killed because no one will save you.
                                                                               Grace Ellis'
I smashed the note in my hand and slammed my fist into the wall. I walked out of the cell and went outside. I started cussing when I saw the horse gone. Everything's gone. Doesn't matter she never loved me. "Daryl what's wrong?" "You should know you were her fucking friend!" I threw the paper to the ground and needed to blow off some steam. I was about out the gate when Rick came down. "She's gone?" "Did you know anything about it?" He nodded making my blood boil.
"I told her she needed to leave." "You what?!" "She wasn't one of us anymore. I would've rather had Merle than her." My hands balled up into fists at the mention of Merle. I started walking to the woods questioning what was actually happening. She hated the Governor for killing Merle so it was hard to believe but could it be possible?
