I stood behind Maggie and fixed her dress. I smiled and she had a few tears fall down her face. "What's wrong?" "I just wish my dad was here you know?" "I know. Just think about Glenn and seeing his face when you walk down that aisle." She smiled and hugged me. We both made sure everything was ready and I helped her to the doors. "I have one last surprise." I opened a door and Hershel stepped out on his crutches. Maggie hugged him with tears running down her face. "I had to get him last night. Now let's have a wedding." I took my place and took Daryl's arm. We walked down together and separated once we got to the front. Maggie started to walk down the aisle and she looked beautiful. I knew she was so much happier with Hershel at her side. I exchanged a smile with Daryl and watched the ceremony. Maggie was crying slightly and Glenn looked about to break. I wiped a few from my won eyes and they walked out of the church as husband and wife.

I walked into the reception holding Daryl's arm with a smile spread across my face. I was self conscious as people's eyes fell on my prosthetic making my smile fall. I moved closer to Daryl and he gave my arm a small squeeze. "Don't matter how they see ya Grace." I blushed and looked down. Maggie and Glenn were over near the small cake about to cut it. This wedding was exactly what a lot of us needed. The walkers didn't matter and no one was shooting at us. We were together with the ones we loved and that's all that mattered. Its what made it seem like the whole apocalypse thing wasn't happening. I sat next to the fire with Daryl and watched Glenn dance with Maggie. Daryl put his hand out but I didn't take it. "Come on its one dance." I slowly took his hand and he led me to the floor. Maggie smiled looking over Glenn's shoulder. I smiled back and Daryl took my hand. It felt awkward since I only had two fingers on my hand. I wanted to run at that moment but Daryl took my waist. "Don't think about it." "Hard not to." I looked up at his stormy blue eyes and smiled. We started to move with the music and got closer as it went on. I rested my head on his shoulder taking in everything about him. His scent, the way he moved, even the way he breathed. It was all so perfect. Everything he did amazed me. We walked off the floor and Maggie pulled me away. "You two are so cute." "Don't let him here that. You and Glenn look amazing. It was all beautiful."  "Daryl got pretty close to you in front of everyone." I smiled and looked back at him. "I think he's trying because we have to kiss tomorrow." I walked back over to Daryl and gave him a quick kiss. "You have to stay with Andrews tonight." "I love you." "I love you too."

"I'll be the redneck in a tux." "I'll be the one in white." I watched him leave with  the guys and I let Glenn and Maggie have the house for the night. I walked through the dark street and went to Lacey's. She's letting me stay in her guest bedroom.  I just hope I can sleep.

I woke up to Maggie shaking me awake. "We need to go see the place before Daryl breaks out of his prison." I groaned and got off the bed. She stopped dragging me and looked at what I was wearing. "Is that Daryl's?" "Shut up its comfortable." We walked outside and went to the park. I wanted an outside wedding and Daryl completely agreed. Neither of us like being stuck inside. We're outdoors type of people. The seats were lined up with simple flowers. I smiled and realized how this is really happening. I'm doing to be Grace Dixon in a few hours. "Its fantastic." "Come on let's get you inside." We walked in laughing about Daryl's night with Dacey and the guys. I went upstairs to take a shower and just relax in the water for a bit. I couldn't help but think about the prison. They weren't here and we were enjoying ourselves. It just overtook all of my emotions and turned them to guilt. I looked over at my prosthetic and felt worse. Daryl has only seen me without it once and I was under a blanket back at the farm. Sleeping in it is uncomfortable as hell but I just don't want him to see me without it. He's asked me about it multiple times but I wasn't ready to be with him without it. In a few hours he'll be my husband.

I got out of the tub and put on my leg. Maggie waited with my dress in the bedroom. Having electricity really helped out with curling my hair. We did a half up style and she finished it off with adding a flower hair comb in. I looked at myself in the mirror for the first time in a long time and started to cry. I covered my face with my hands and couldn't stop. Maggie wrapped in a hug and Glenn opened the door but retreated when he saw me. I was almost calm when I felt ready to barf. She followed me to the bathroom and held my hair back again. "I can't do this.." "You're just nervous Grace." I nodded and tried to stop crying completely. "I just wish Mary was here. We always wanted to be there for each others wedding you know?" "If it helps you're my favorite sister at the moment." I smiled and hugged her again. She helped me back to the room and helped me into my wedding dress. The jeweled corset showed off everything the way it was supposed to and I was just in love with the skirt. Maggie gave me a minute alone and I looked in the mirror again. Merle stood behind me in a suit surprisingly. Mary was in a pink dress standing on the other side of me.
