'Joe I want you to come with me.'

Joe looks at me. No expression shows on his face. I gulp, it was a long shot: asking your boyfriend of nearly two months to go to the other side of the world with you.
As we look at each other a smile spreads across his face. He kisses my cheek.
'Of course I will. You know Emma...' He says.
'What?' I say, folding my arms over my growing belly.
'Remember when I asked you to move in with me?' Joe says slyly, his arm going around my waist.
I look up at him suspiciously.
'Yes..'
'We could get a house in Australia?' He suggest, more of a question than an idea.
'That's a good idea. How would we get the money though?' I think out loud, I'm 19 nearly 20. I could get a job easily in Australia I guess.
Joe kisses me again.
'I get money from YouTube. And you can do whatever, especially as we've got a baby on the way.' Joe says softly, his voice cracking at the end, as if he's just come to realisation that he's going to be a father.
'You're going to be an amazing dad.' I whisper in his ear softly.
Joe hugs me tight and I bury my head into his chest.
The door suddenly clicks open and a couple who are seemingly connected quite clearly at the mouth enter.
It's Caspar and Alexa.
Caspar leans down and whispers something in Alexa's ear and she giggles.
We look at them, waiting for them to notice.
Alexa notices and gasps, pushing away Caspar who looks surprised.
Caspar soon catches on and looks around awkwardly.
'Care to tell us where you to have been?' I say slyly, smiling.
'Oh we were... Umm..' Caspar begins but being the terrible lair he is, he couldn't finish.
'We were on a date.' Alexa mumbles.
I look between them, then at Joe and burst out laughing.
'Guys you should've told us!' I smile.
I see Caspar and Alexa's body language soften and they smile too.
'Sorry..' Caspar says.
'Anyway.. We have a lot to inform you on.' I say, my tone on a more serious note.
I look at Joe and he squeezes my hand, smiling supportively.
'Can you do it Joe...' I whisper into his shoulder. Not wanting to face Alexa's outburst. I know she will hate me. She moved out here specifically for me and I'm leaving again.
'Ok.. Emma is pregnant.' Joe says softly.
There's silence but then I feel two arms pulling me out of my hiding place in Joe's shoulder.
It's Alexa and she pulls me into a hug.
'Emma! That's awesome! Oh my gosh, we need to go baby shopping! What are you going to call it? Can I be its Godmother?' Alexa says animatedly.
I smile sadly.
'That brings me onto the next thing... We're moving to Australia...' I whisper, wishing for them not to hear me.
This time there's a longer silence.
'What?' I hear Alexa's voice say, shocked. I had closed my eyes and held onto Joe's hand tightly.
'Were moving to Australia.' I say slightly louder, but my voice coming out in a little squeak even so.
'But.. I've just moved from Australia... When are you leaving?' Alexa says calmly.
'Monday.'
'But that's three days away!' Alexa says, her voice rising.
'I know. My mum said I have to go back otherwise she will stop putting money in my bank.' I say sadly.
'Ok.. I understand now.' Alexa says her voice lowering again.
Throughout all of this Caspar has remained silent.
'You're leaving bro?' He turns to Joe.
'Yeah.. I need to be there for Emma. Now that she's pregnant I need to look after her more.' He says, affection coursing through his voice.
'How am I supposed to pay the bills? We always split the mortgage Joe.'
'I know.. I'm sorry. You do understand don't you?' Joe says hopefully.
'Yes.. I would do the same for Alexa.' Caspar says and Alexa kisses him happily.
I hug Alexa.
'I'm sorry.'
'Hey it's ok Emma honestly. Now you go pack. You're leaving on Monday!' She says, her voice thick with emotion.
I smile and squeeze her arm.
I kiss Joe.
'See you tomorrow.'
And I leave the flat.
