Chapter Ten: Missions

"Thanks." I tell the agent as he lands and takes his chute off.

"Yeah, you two seemed pretty helpless with out me." He jokes. Everyone starts to land and Steve puts his shield on his back. We then start moving as Tash comes next to Steve.

"What about the nurse that lives across the hall from you?" Tash asks. "She seems nice."

"She is, and she loves Amira." I point out, Steve gives me the not helping look.

"Secure the engine room, then find me a date Romanoff."

"I'm multi tasking." She says as she jumps off the railing.

"Alright Steve, what now." I ask.

"Jump on." I grab his sheild, putting it on my back as I get on his. he starts to run and jump rom side to side. WE stop and I aim the listening device. I shoot it and begin to translate for Steve and the others.

"I don't Like waiting. Call Durand. I want this ship ready to move when the ransom comes." I say, it was The leader of the Pirates, I forgot his name.

"Start the engines." I say, someone else was carrying out his orders. "Tash, keep them off." I warn her. I then put all my weight on Steve as he keeps moving.

"Mika, are you okay?" He asks with worry.

"I need a breather, keep going." I take off his Shield and put it on my arm. "It's here incase I can't get to you in time." Then they started to talk again. Steve bent down behind a wall for a breather.

"Radio Silence from SHIELD, Batroc..." I translate, That's what the guy says to him. 

"Targets acquired." An agent says over the comm. I look to Steve for the next move.

"Striking positioned."

"Natasha, What's your status?" Steve calls. 

"Hold On!" Tash yells. I start to panic slightly

"Вам нужна помощь?" (Do you need help?)I ask her, no awnser. I go to get up, only to have Steve grab my arm.

"Engine Room Secured." Tash replies and I sigh with Relief. "I'm good, Shadow. Keep going with the mission." I smile and look at Steve.

"On my mark...." Steve tells us. We all wait patiently, my heart beating every second. "Three....two....one." Then the firing starts. Steve grabs my hand I jump on his back, holding his shield. He jumps from wall to wall, then flings the disk at Batroc. They duck and the disk goes into the wall. We jump inside and I get off Steve's back. Batroc leg sweeps me, and kicks Steve in the chest. He runs, making Steve growl. He grabs his shield and we run for him.

"Hostages in route to extract. Romanoff missed the rondevou point Captain. Hostels are still in play." One of the agents say. Me and Steve were out on the deck now.

"Natasha, Batroc is still on the move. Circle back to Randevou and protect the hostages." Steve orders, But she doesn't awnser. 

"Tash?" I call. I stop to look at Steve, dreading the worst. Then out of no where, Batroc jumps at us. Steve uses his shield to block it and pushes me to the side. I watch as he goes at my friend. I grab the ground and start to pull. Steve is fighting him off no problem, but I needed to help. The metal starts to bend, and I grin. Steve pushes him off once more and They are at a stand still. I need more time.

"I Thought you were more than just a shield..." the man says. I translate for Steve. Steve takes it as a challenge and puts the shield on his back and takes the helmet off.

"Let's see." Steve says, but in french. I was shocked he knew it but had to keep going. I pull the metal into strands to wrap around him. I then send it flying at Batroc, making him soar into the door. The metal then fell off him, only to have Steve jump on. He nods at my help. I run over to see him knocked out.

"Oh, This is awkward." I turn to see Natasha. She was on a computer. I climb over Steve and run to her giving her a side hug. I thought she was hurt.

"What are you doing?" Steve asked. He seemed irritated.

"Backing up the hard drive. It's a good habit to get into. Just ask Mika." Tash said casually. I chuckle and watch her work.

"What the hell are you going here?" Steve asked more sternly. We look up to see the files she was transferring. 

"You're saving SHEILD's intel." I say, as I watch the files load.

"Whatever I can get my hands on." Tash says with a smirk.

"Our mission is to rescue hostages." Steve growls.

"No, that's your mission." Tash says while taking out the hard drive. "And you two have done it Beautifully." She starts to walk away but Steve grabs her arm with Force. I take my dagger and point it at him. It was a waring.

"You just jeopardize this whole operation." He snapped. My blade got close to his neck.

"уступать." (Stand down.) Tash tells me and I put my dagger away. She turns to Steve, who was pissed off. "I think that's overstating things." We look up to see Batroc throwing something at us as he runs. I chase after him. I get close enough and grab his head and let it pour out. I feed him the nightmares that makes him scream, the terrors of his past. And I enjoyed it. I loved how he cried out in pain. But he throws me into a wall and escapes. My head spins a little as I see two figures run to me.

Steve and Natasha.

I smile and wave, but I notice my fingers turing black. I quickly hide them, and the two come over and help my to the jet. 

Time to go home.
