Chapter Five: Tests

I was reluctant as all head to walk over to the door. Fury made a deal with me. I become an Avenger, save people and actually go outside. But in return, He wanted my mind thing tested. So I was standing outside of the lab, where Tony and Banner were waiting for me.

"You know, standing here isn't gonna do much good." A voice says behind me, I turn to see Steve Rogers.  He wasn't in his suit and all spangled out. He wore a long sleeved blue button up, with the sleeves rolled up. Dark jeans covered the bottom half of his body.

"Who knows, maybe I can disappear now as I hold my breath." I joke. He didn't get it. "Paul. Alien movie, funny as all hell." Nothing. "You need to be educated Rogers." I tell him as I shake my head.

"Yeah, I get that a lot." He said then pointed to the door. "Ready?" I take a deep breath. 

"Anyway, you could convince Fury to not have this done." I ask, with little hope.

"Nope, you wanna be an Avenger, this is the training." He say as he crosses his arms.

"Rather kick your ass in the training room." I mumbled.

"If you could." He said, I guess he heard me.

"Rogers, you are a ninety year old guy. I can kick your ass any day, any time." I challenge him.

"If you go in there, I will fight you." Steve says as he points to the door.

"Fine, but only once am I doing this." I say, he nods and opens the door for me. Tony, Banner, Thor, and Tash were inside. Steve brought me over to the examination table. Thor stood behind Tash, who seemed uneasy with this. Rodgers stood next to me. Banner was futzing with something while Tony faced me.

"All right Mind Reader, you ready?" He asks. I shrug.

"As ready as I can be." I sighed. Banner put something on my head, with wires and crap. Tony set up a computer.

"So Mika, you are not gonna like this." Stark says. I get confused and Tony nods. Thor then grabs Tash, not letting her move.

"What the hell Stark!" Steve said steeping next to me. Tony put on a white mask and the panic started to set in. He grabbed my arm and shoved a needle in. I screamed and grabbed the closest thing next to me, Steve. My memories set in.

We were in Sirs special room. I had to sit on the table as the men in white strapped me down. I screamed and kicked my legs trying to get away. Sir came up to me with a scowl.

"Stop Kicking!" He shouted.

"Stop it please!" I cry. He punches me to shut me up. I try to quiet down, but I was still sobbing. 

"We ready?" Sir asked the white man with the mask.

"Ready." He said with a nod. Sir grinned.

"Mika, if you are a good girl, no more slashes okay?" He says with a sweet voice. I knew he was lying but I nod."Good, boys she is all yours." Sir says as he steps away. The Machines behind me make a lot of noise. I look around frantically for help. The men tightened the straps on my body. I cry out in pain, which earned a smack across my face.

" Die Injektion ist bereit." One of the men in white said to the Masked man.

"Tu Es." Masked man said. Four of the white men came to the table, each holding golden needles. I try to squirm away. It did nothing. Each of them held one of my limbs and stabbed me with the gold needles, pouring the liquid inside. I scream loudly. MY body felt like shocks were running through it. It burned so much. I could here Mama screaming for them to stop. After i stopped moving, they unstrapped me, only to throw me to the ground and the cracks began.

"What did I say!" Sir growled. His whipped cracked against my skin, over and over again. I cry of each crack.

I open my eyes to find me clinging to Rodgers. He looked shocked and his face read pity. He saw my memory. Tash finally got out of Thor's grip and ran to me. She moved my hair to see my face, which was blank. I felt nothing but pain. I turn slightly to see Stark and Banner staring at a screen. It must have been my results.

"Тень , Что ты видел ?"(Shadow, What did you see?) Tash whispered as she took the wires off. I just stared at my grip on Steve. He had the same grip on my arm, just not as tight. 

"I'm going to go change." I said quietly. I let go of Steve and he did the same. As I walked out of the room, I heard Natasha screaming at Stark. I walk to me and Amira's room.

I woke up from my depressing slumber to a smiling Amira. She was wearing a coat and jeans. Her Blonde hair was put into a ponytail.

"Mika Wake Up Wake Up!" She shouted with delight.

"I'm awake, I'm awake." I groan as I sit up. "Why are you dressed like that?"

"Mr. America gonna take us to a park!" She sheriks with excitement. I look up and there is Steve in normal clothes.

"Let's go Shadow." He says with a grin.

"I Don't get it." I look at him more confused than ever.

"We're gonna get out of here for a while. You said you wanted to leave." Steve says as he leans against the door.

"Fury letting us out?"

"More or less. Come on, get dressed." Cap says with a grin. Amira runs off with him, leaving me to change.
