We came to the museum, Amira holding both me and Steve's hands. Steve was in his hat, sweatshirt and glasses. It was to keep his head down from unwanted attention. He brought us to the Captain America exhibit. Amira was in awe.

"Little conceded, eh Steve?" I joke. He rolls his eyes and we enter the exhibit. I understood why he wanted to come, it was his world. Something he missed. Flags were up and it was all decked out in America. Amira pulled on Steve's arm for him to pick her up.

"Is that you?" She whispers as she points to the statue.

"Yeah, but it is a secret." Steve tells her. She nods and puts a finger to her lips to be silent. I look at the paintings in his honor too.

"They got it somewhat right." I say under my breath. We got to the part where it showed pre-serum Steve. He was scrawny but adorable. Amira measured herself next to little Steve, and watched as he got tall from the serum. A little boy noticed us, and stared at Steve. He smiled at the boy and put his finger to his lips. The boy nodded in amazement. Steve picked up Amira again and we walked to a different part.

It was his motorcycle and black and white video of him during the war. I could tell it hurt his heart slightly, not being where he belongs. I take his hand and squeeze it, showing I was here for him.

"Look!" Amira gasps as she points to something else. We look and it is Steve with his friends. The Howling commandos, i think. The man on the right of Steve looked familiar, like I met him before. Steve turns and there is a giant memorial. It was the man that was familiar. His name was James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes. I watched the film of him and Steve laughing. Smiling, being together. I felt tears welt up, it must be from Steve memories. Flashes of that man falling off the bridge make me stumble back.

"You alright?" Steve asks worried. I nod.

"Let's keep going." Amira was so good. She was amazed by everything. Steve led us to another film. It was a woman, Peggy Carter. I remember her from the nightmares. It was Steve trying to save her from HYDRA, but failing and watching her die slowly in his arms. We sit down and watch. As we Watch, Steve holds a round object in his hands. He opens it and it was a compass, with her inside.

"Let's go. I want you to meet someone."

We enter the nursing home, Amira was in my arms. she was nervous with all these new people around. The woman at the front desk smiled when she saw Steve.

"Mr. Rodgers! Good to see you again!" The lady cheered. Her smile was big with her cherry red lipstick. "And who are these dolls?"

"Lisa, these are my girls, Mika and Amira." Steve introduces. "Is she awake?"

"Yup! You know where the room is. Nice to meet you girls!" She said with a smile. WE start to walk down a hallway, filled with doors that led to rooms. It smelt like old people.

"Steve, where are we going?" Amira asks. We stop at a room and he smiles.

"You guys are gonna meet someone close to me." Steve explains. We enter the room and there is an old woman lying down on a bed with a knitted blanket. I realize who this is as I see her wrinkled face.

Peggy Carter

"Steve, I'm so glad to see you." She said with her accent. "Who are these beautiful girls?" Steve takes Amira out of my arms and puts her on his lap as he sits next to her. I sit in the seat next to him.

"These are my girls, Amira and Mika. I have been taking care of them. Amira, can you say hi to Peggy?" Steve asks softly. Amira was buried in his chest with nervousness. She looked at the frail woman and gave her a light smile.

"Hi." Amira says softly.

"Hello sweetheart." Peggy says then turns to me. "Nice to meet you my dear."

"Hi." I say nicely. I watch the two interact. It was heart warming yet sad to see. He couldn't be with her, so he was trying to make up for lost time.

"You should be proud of yourself." Steve tells her.He was looking at the photos of her children and husband.

"hmm, I have lived a life. My only regret is that you didn't get to live yours." She tells him. He looks down. "What is it?"

"For as long as I can remember, I just wanted to do what was right. I guess I'm not quite sure what that is anymore." Steve Admitted. "And I thought I could throw myself back in again. Follow orders. Serve. It's just not the same." Amira then hugged him, as if she understood. He chuckled and hugged her back.

"You are always so dramatic." Peggy chuckles. "Look, you saved the world. We rather...mucked it up." Peggy says.

"You didn't." Steve protests. "Knowing that you helped found SHIELD was half the reason I stayed." It kinda hurt that me and Amira weren't. I feel like Steve is my big brother, my friend. I created a bond with him, I never had with anyone. Peggy grabs Steve's hand and brings it closer to her as she holds on tight.

"The world has changed. And none of us can go back." Peggy told him. "All we can do is our best. And sometimes the best that we can do, is to start over, and now you have too beautiful girls to help you." Then she has a coughing fit. I get up and pour a glass of water, then hand it to Steve. Steve holds the water out to her. Her eyes widen

"Steve?" She says bewildered.

"Yeah?"

"You...You're alive? You..You came back?" She cries. I cover my gasping mouth. She had memory loss. She forgot. She didn't remember. Steve smiled at her lightly, trying to cover the sadness.

"Yeah Peg, I came back." He whispers to her.

"It's been so long." She cried. "So long..."

"Well I couldn't leave my best girl." Tears formed in his eyes. Amira came over to me, giving them their moment. "Now, she owes me a dance."

"Who..Who are they?" Peggy asks as she looks at us. Steve opens his mouth but I speak first.

"We are in the wrong room, I'm sorry." I look at Steve.

We will wait by the bike, take all time you want. Amira loves their garden. I send to Steve he nods in appreciation and goes back to his love.

The one who forgot us.
