"So love, how was your first day on campus?" I smiled, opening up the wrapping for her taco. "Fun!" she grinned falsely batting her eyelashes for extra persuasion. I looked up at her and raised an eyebrow, knowing she was lying. Her features caved into her face, and her left eyebrow slightly curled upwards, her nose scrunching up adorably. Beautiful was the only word that crossed my mind. "I've never heard that one before," I chuckled and rested my elbows on the table, "Now tell me, what really happened?" She breathed out gratefully and smiled a real, genuine, and beautiful smile. "It was f***ing horrible." she gagged and bit into her taco. She went on a rant about the terrible teachers were and the classes were hard and every thing was expensive. "Oh, did the pretty little princess have a bad first day in the real world?" I cooed. "I am in the real world!" she protested, a blush prominent on her face. "Mhm, and I, am a king." I said, raising both of my eyebrows sarcastically. "Ugghh I hate everything." she groaned, slamming her head on the desk. It was just then that I noticed the beauty of her hair. It was dyed a velvety red, making it shine brightly in the light of the moon came from the window. The stringy, soft mess of perfection grew all the way down from her scalp to her shoulders, and it was neatly folded into large, flouncy curls with a straight bang that swooped cross her left eye, making her look mysterious. Amazing...."Then why are you going here?" I grinned, taking large bite into my taco. "Because, if I leave now I'll have like twice as much debt and I'll have like try ten times harder to get into another school!" she sighed, but then suddenly looked up at me with lit eyes."And I have you here Ethan. Can't let a gentleman get away now can I?" she said with a teasing smirk. "Of course not." I smiled, mirroring her expression and taking out my phone. "Mhm. I'd take a wild guess and say that you first day sucked juuust as bad as mine. But someone must've turned your day around. I expect the same you know." she said and leaned back in her chair, awaiting my response. I looked up from the bright screen and into her eyes; brown, big, beautiful. Just as they were before, except now it was dark and it seemed like the moon had injected itself into her pupils, because they seemed to be continuously dilated. "Absolutely. I hope you give me the correct answer when I say this, but, I have the entire Star Wars series and a king sized bed covered in more pillows than you can imagine. I have checked previously and they have "Angel" written all over them." I smiled. Please like Star Wars. Please like Star Wars. Please like Star Wars!!!! I pleaded in my head. "Only if we skip the first 2, cause believe it or not, Revenge of the Sith was really kind of great. For a movie that wasn't in the original trilogy I mean." she grinned and took of her shirt, replacing it with a grey hoodie that read TOMAHAWK CHOP IS MY DEATHBLOW. "Don't get any ideas, I just can't sleep with my pants on that's all." she warned. "Do you honestly believe that I'd be lucky enough for hat? I'm grateful to be in the same room as you . I'm real full of it, but not that full of it." I chuckled and unzipped the Back To The Future themed jacket I was wearing. After turning around I realized that she had wrapped her cold arm around me. "Thank you."she mumbled into my chest. "For wat?" "I don't know," she said and sighed heavily, "I was bein kind of a bitch today and I'm not the emotional type so, sorry about Danielle. Must've been hard I guess." she said, her gentle voice muffled. I smiled and looked down stroking her air, making her tense up almost immediately. "No need to worry love, I'm fine. Every princess gets a bit bitchy at times." I said and she looked up, releasing her ams. "But either way, I don't think I have the right to be mad at you, darling." I nodded with a playful smile latched onto my lips. I walked around the bed and grabbed the PS4 controller, opening the comforter with my other hand. "Coming?" I asked an gestured towards the other side of the bed. "Always." she smiled, climbing over towards my side and I tucked her in. What I saw right then was her lips. They were warm and plump and pink, the faded her lipstick obvious on her face. They curled upward when she smiled, and straightened evey other time. When she smirked it seemed to always be her right side, letting me know that she was right-handed. They were only slightly thick, and they thinned when she looked at Dylan, or any other boy. With me though, they softened, her entire face did. She looked at me with the eyes of an angel (which she was of course) and she blinked harshly, turning away immediately as if I reminded her of a bad memory. Sitting beside her as she cuddled up next to me was one of the most electric moments of my entire life. "What're you staring at Ethan?" she chuckled looking up at me. Brown. Big. Beautiful. I repeated in my head. "Why an angel of course. Isn't it obvious?" I said cockily, making her roll those amazing eyes of hers and look back at the TV screen. The sound of the Star Wars theme blared through my ears and Jade squealed, squeezing the pillow on her lap, falling back into my chest. The thought of the girl lying next to me briefly left my mind, being replaced with the haunting words of Dylan. You're gonna fall in love with her, and she's gonna fall in love with you. But then, right before you experience true happiness, you're gonna push her away and run off, only for me to send another girl your way again. And the vicious cycle returns back around. "Step 1: Check." I mumbled quietly.
