"Hey how do you know what to do when a girl's on her period?" Jade asked, holding onto my arm as we walked through the aisle. "I have a sister remember? Annie was a very good, extremely emotional teacher. Always whining. Always needing some form of affection, whether it was a hug or just cuddling up and watching a movie." I shrugged. "Oh, you know I love movies. And Calum used to say I was a big cuddler." she hinted, rocking back and forth on her heels. I picked up a carton of ice cream and pretending that I didn't catch any of her...many hints. "I also like affection. Mhm, lots of it. You know girls really like that in a guy, someone who's nice and sweet but also kind of, I don't know, manly maybe? Kinda like you, I'm sure you'd get a lot of girls, too bad you're stuck on me." she nodded. "Uh-huh..." I mumbled, reading the nutrition facts on the carton. "Ethan!" she groaned. "Oh how I love it when you say my name, what is it darling?" I smiled and ruffled her hair, throwing my arm around her. She quickly smiled and shook her head. "Nothing!" "Good, we'll just buy two cartons, just to be safe. Now, onto the cupcakes!" I announced. "Yay!" she cheered, pushing the cart farther along. "Adorable." I mumbled with a shake of my head. Once we got to the checkout line the cart was full of different items, ranging from toilet paper to donuts. The cashier looked up at me and chuckled, scanning the items. "You're whipped dude." he laughed. "You are correct." I smiled, "But I'm alright with it. You would be too." He looked at Jade, who was scrolling through Tumblr and shrugged. "She's hot." "Which is why I don't complain." I nodded, swiping my card. "Are you talking about me?" she frowned and looked up. "Nope, but I'm thinking about you. Always am. " I said and she blushed, shaking her head and going back to her phone.
...
"You're very chivalrous." she said finally, after we both got into the car. "What do you mean?" "Well, not many guys open the car door for girls or buy them flowers everyday. You're so 1960's." "And you're so 2010's." I chuckled, backing out of the parking lot. "Hey I take that as a very good compliment!" she laughed. "Buckle your seat belt." I rolled my eyes.
...
"ETHAN!!!" "What is it darling?" "Do you know when my history class is?" "Well I imagine that you would know better than me love." "But I don't know!" "Well you should! Don't you have your schedule?" "You took it from me!" she whined. "When did I do that?" I asked and her face dropped.

*Flashback*

"Love, you can't study forever!" "I can try." she glared, "I just need to prepare for the test!" "You mean the course exams that are next year?" "No, the unit test that's in..." "3 weeks." "Whatever." she breathed out, flipping to the next page. "Alright, give them to me." "What?' "Give me your papers. No more studying until I say so." "Hey!" "You'll thank me later." I sang, stuffing them into a folder.

*Flashback*

"Oh yeah...Then let me have a look." I nodded, going through the folder. "Here it is! Your history class was at 11am, but we were at the store. Your next class isn't until tomorrow at 2, that one's math." I read. "Aw, but I hate math!" "Well, that leaves the rest of the day with my full attention. What would you like to do?" I smiled. "I don't know. That movie and cuddling thing sounded good." "Then that's what we'll do. What movie?" "Um, Tinker Bell. No no no! Big Hero 6! No wait, Frozen!" she squealed, holding a pillow." "It's so hard to believe that you're over 18..." "I'm only 18." "Hm, it's evident. Let's do Finding Nemo." I'll pop some popcorn and you can do the drinks alright?" "Yay!" she squeaked, climbing off the bed and into my arms. Carrying her to the kitchen I set her down and took the popcorn bags out of the large box. "I can make great smoothies you know." she smiled, taking out a box of strawberries. "I'm taking your word for it, because if they turn out bad then-love what are you doing?!" I mumbled setting the microwave for the right time before turning around to find her sitting on the counter eating the strawberries. She looked up at me with innocent eyes and said "I like strawberries." "Those are supposed to be in the smoothie?" "No. I'm making a mango and pineapple smoothie. Those have nothing to do with strawberries." she shrugged. "Hm."
