Part 1: Princesa
"I'm sorry I don't know how to fall in love with you."
"I'm sorry that she doesn't know how to fall in love with you."
"Do you want me to teach you?" he said finally.
She shook her head.
"I told you I can't."
"But I can."
She looked up and stared into his wonderful emerald glistening eyes.
"You can?"
He smiled.
"Yes I can."
She frowned.
"Please."
"Please what?"
"Please teach me how to be in love."
"I will darling. I will."
Three Weeks Later
"Dylan?" I groaned and he chuckled, drinking his beer. "Yeeeeeess?" he drawled out and I collapsed on the bean bag chair a few feet away from him. "I don't know what to do!" I tell her that I'm going to teach her how to fall in love, and now I don't know how to do it!" I explained and he passed me a bottle of Jack Daniels, smacking his gum and not saying a word. "I'm not going to drink my pain away." I chuckled and he cocked an eyebrow. "Alright." I shrugged, taking the bottle and sipping it with a smile. "Oh and Ethan?" he said and I mumbled in response, chugging down the strong whiskey. "Flowers." he said simply, taking another drink and I frowned. "Flowers?" "Ethan, how often do you buy princesa flowers?" Dylan asked, his soft accent making an appearance. "Everyday." I said and furrowed my eyebrows. "Are you sure?' he pressed and thought. Yesterday, Tuesday, Monday, all last week.... "Yes. Every single day." I nodded slowly. "Exactly. And with the way she is, those flowers are something she depends on. She NEEDS those flowers. What happens when you take them away from her? What is gonna happen when you don't give her those flowers?" Dylan asked and I frowned. "But I like giving her flowers..." I mumbled sadly and Dylan gulped with an alarmed look on his face.. "Ethan it's for her own good! She needs this." he said quickly and I smiled, keeping my head down. I was always thankful that Dylan knew me so well, that he could erase the bad thoughts in my head and make good ones appear in an instance. He always looked so frazzled when he did, like there was a taser chip in his spine that would activate if he upset me in some way. "It's for our princess...?" I mumbled. "It's always for our princess Ethan." Dylan smiles reassuringly and I brightened. "Alright then, I'll do it. But you know I'll have to avoid her Dylan. I can't do that!" I said and got up, sitting next to him on his bed and taking a swing of a beer he gave me. "Any opportunities present themselves?" he shrugged, chugging the Budlight in his hands. "I could work a few extra nights at work. There's a big contract we're working on at work. I can take a few hours doing that." I suggested and he smiled contagiously. "Ethan Gregory Vincent, I'm gonna teach your Irish arse howta live. For the next week of course." he grinned, wrapping an arm around my neck. "A week? I have to be without princesa for a week?" he frowned. "Oh relax, you can help me get chicks!" he smiled proudly and we both got up, throwing the beers away. "Don't a love doing that." I mumbled sarcastically. "If you don't mind being called different names and doing random American accents. A perfect week. Up for the challenge?" he asked and he stuffed his wallet in his pocket as we walked down to Hotshot. "You want me to land you seven girls in seven nights?" "Just like the master." "Barney Stinson was a fictional character, and it's still impossible." I chuckled and took off my blazer, putting on my leather jacket instead. We sat down at the bar and at least seven or eight girls were already seductively staring at us. Dylan smirked and I rolled my eyes at the response. "It won't be impossible if I have you." he smiled genuinely at me. I grinned and sipped my Scotch. Oh how I love seeing that dorky smile on his face... "Alright. Then I won't let it be impossible." I said and we clinked drinks.
