"Howdy!" The male goat - Asgore - said.
Chara was in control of the conversation, so you sat back and let him work.
He smiled. "Howdy. I'm Chara."
Nazur coughed. "Pardon. Asgore, this boy is new here. He has no one to stay with. Would you and Toriel do the favor to an old friend of taking him in?"
Toriel walked over to Chara. "Hello. I am Toriel. It is nice to meet you." She stuck out her hand (paw?).
Chara took it and shook. "Knife to meet you too."
"Excuse me?" Toriel looked confused.
"Nice. I said nice."
Liar.
Toriel nodded. "Asgore and I have a son about your age. Asriel! Come out here, would you?"
A small duplication of Asgore peeked out from the door to look at his mom. "Yes, mommy."
He slowly hid behind his mother.
"Asriel," Toriel explained. "This is Chara. He'll be your adopted brother from now on."
Chara waved. "I think we're going to be best friends, Asriel."
Asriel perked up. "You really think so? I've never had a friend before..."
You found that to be extremely sad. This boy's only friend would be a killer.
Toriel left the boys alone to go play somewhere, and walked over to you. "Greetings!"
You waved to her. "Hi. I don't believe we've met. I'm (y/n)."
"(y/n), huh? What a lovely name! And, might I say, you have lovely purple eyes!"
Your eyes were changing colors again. Fabulous.
