As your dance came to an end, a single that Grillby hadn't queued started to play.
"Bwomp bwomp! What's new, pussycat?"
You stared at each other for a few seconds, then burst out laughing. It was such a contrast to the song you were just listening to.
"I should probably get going," you said reluctantly to Grillby.
Wordlessly, he wrapped his arms around you.
You returned the hug and looked up at him.
He's so beautiful... you thought.
You departed, after saying your goodbye and promising to text or call Grillby once or twice a day - just to make sure that you were alright.
You got to the Hotland with a few minutes to spare, so you stopped by a little kids ice cream stand.
"Nice Cream! The frozen treat that warms your heart!" The kid was smiling and holding a popsicle. You bought one and saved it for later.
As the clock struck 10:00 pm - the time Gaster and you had agreed to meet - the two of you were in the rickety elevator.
"Are you nervous, (y/n)?"
You said nothing, for fear that your words would fail you.
You stepped out of the elevator and Gaster led you to a white room.
The two skeletons were sitting down, having a conversation.
You walked in, and they looked up in surprise and fear.
"FATHER! HELLO!" 2 said.
"hey dad. who's your friend?" 1 asked.
"Boys, this is (y/n). She's your mo-"
"I'm your sister!" You cut Gaster off. You weren't ready to be a mom just yet.
"hey, sis."
"FATHER, WHY DOES SHE LOOK SO DIFFERENT FROM US?"
You had no idea what to tell 2.
