Needless to say, you threw up.
Gaster let you take a minute to collect yourself before saying anything."These are my experiments. I call them 1 and 2."
"That's rubbish!" you said. "At least give them proper names!"
He smiled. "No, I will let them do that themselves. It stems the creativity into their brains."You was starting to get a sick feeling in your stomach. "Gaster, why are you showing me this?"
Gaster sighed. "Because I need your help. You are mostly human - don't look so surprised. I can tell a hybrid when I see one - and female. You know about humans and what makes them alive. Qualities of the living, as they say. I need your help on animating 1 and 2."
"So you're not going to make me a skeleton?"
Gaster laughed. "Please, if I had wanted to do that, you would've been dead already. No, I need you alive."
You felt as if he was suppressing a, "For now."
Trying to hold back from calling him an idiot, you walked over to numbers 1 and 2. "First off, you need to give them some clothes. Nobody wants to see a naked skeleton."
That was how you became Gaster's lab assistant.
Every day, you would go down into the true lab and help Gaster create living monsters.
Grillby would check in every week, and even asked if you would stay with him. You refused his offer, then immediately wished you hadn't. If Grillby was the only one you could trust, why were you pushing him away?
