Chapter 12

After we ate, I mean, Xander ate. He told me that we should go back to school so we can catch up with the 'others'.

And I am intentionally calling them 'others' because I don't want to hang out with them. I just follow Xander and yet I am the one who is bossing him around.

Ironic? Isn't it?

While walking to Xander's car, I notice that he kepts walking away from me. With a short distance.

I stare at his face that is looking at the cement ground. No emotions can be traced on his face.

Is he still mad?

"Dude, you've been avoiding me since we got out of the diner. Are you still mad?" I asked.

He looked at me with a blank face and rolled his eyes.

"What do you think?" He annoingly asked.

I sighed in frustration. I rubbed my forehead and looked at him.

"Can you stop acting like a drama queen?"

"I am not acting like a drama queen!"

"Oh yeah? You're acting like one right now!"

He backed away slowly and look away.

I sighed.

"Look, I am sorry for being a sadastic shit. I know you care for me. I know that. I can't just stand seeing you being mad at me. You're my bro." I explained dramatically.

He stared at me. He smirked.

"I know. I just wanted to hear you say sorry." He chuckle.

I just froze. Instead of saying another word, I punch him at his right arm.

He laughed loudly and apologized.

Everything just turned around. He is the one who is laughing and I am the one who is mad.

*chuckles*

He knows me. He really does.

Me and Xander arrived at our school. We arrived at the cafeteria and meet with the 'others.'

....attention whores....

Everybody exchanged their greetings. I was the only one who didn't greet. I just give them a glance. Unfortunately, the girls blushed and wink at me.

I just can't. Can't.

Everybody started talking with the same topic. The party.

To be honest, I don't wanna talk about the party. I predicted the future. You know what happens?
