"What? We did!" The voice called, it sounded female. "Yes!" The Cat called back, a short blonde ran out off the wooden doors, probably from the kitchen. She looked human, maybe she was banished here? She sure doesn't look like a spell caster.
The short blonde looked at Lapis, she stood up straight and cleared her throat. "Um, hello! What would you like?" She asked, and waited for an answer. "Fish with Cheese..." Lapis answered, smiling softly. The blonde nodded and tilted her head, "Are you, human?" She asked once again. "Er, yes..." Lapis mumbled. "Were you banished? You seem rather fancy... " She straightened her head. "No, no! I actually traveled here." The blonde blinked, "You can't return, I mean, if you wanted to". Lapis tilted her head this time, "Why not?" She seemed confused. "The magicals bonds of this woods holds in whoever enters..." She paused, "I'm sorry, you're stuck here with us..." She folded her hands. Lapis' eyes widened, "Woah... The l-legend is real..." Lapis stuttered. The blonde nodded, "Yes it is. Did you think it was false?" Lapis nodded. "Well, let me get you your food... I don't want to keep you waiting..." Lapis nodded and the blonde ran back into the kitchen. Lapis looked back at the Cat. It purred, "Wanna give me a tip?" Lapis squinted her eyes at the Cat. She just noticed the Cat was a blackish blue color, not black. "I don't know what type of coins you trade for goods..." "Silver coins, got any?" Lapis nodded, "Yes, I do." The Cat got excited, "May I have some?" "I need them..." "Good point..."
A few minutes later the blonde came back with the Fish with Cheese. "Here you are, er..." "Lapis" "Ah, yes. Here you go, Lapis..." She handed her the food. "How much is it?" "Free." Lapis looked surprised, "Really?" The blonde nodded. "Since you're here, you can stay with me until you find somewhere to settle." The blonde seemed excited. Lapis smiled and nodded, "Yes, thank you..."
