Lapis simply looked at the things Peridot was working on when she was sleeping, still happy about the small kiss on the cheek. They weren't together, Lapis just thought it was type of affection. Which she hoped it would happen more often.
Peridot slowly woke up, yawning softly. Lapis looked over, "Did you have a nice nap?" Peridot sat up, and nodded slowly, "Yes, it was refreshing..." Lapis offered a small smile, "That's good." Peridot stood up and walked over to her, setting her chin on her shoulder, "What did you do when I was sleeping?" "Oh, just looking at the things you work on... If that was fine..." Peridot nodded, "It's fine. I trust you..." Lapis nodded, "I do too." Peridot shut her eyes, her chin still relaxing on Lapis' shoulder. "Bfft, comfy?" Lapis chuckled, "Yes..." Peridot mumbled. She wrapped her arms around her. Lapis started blushing. She was sitting on a stool, which didn't have a back to it. Peridot was standing, hugging onto her. Lapis sighed, and relaxed slightly. Peridot simply seeked attention, she hasn't received it for awhile now. Lapis enjoyed it very much as well. They stayed like this for awhile, quiet and still before Peridot said something, "Let's go cuddle..." Lapis felt her heart skip a beat, "Sure, if you want too..." "I would, it's hard standing and hugging..." Lapis nodded, standing up. Peridot gripped onto her at the sudden movements. Lapis chuckled and carried her over on her back.
Lapis put Peridot down on the bed, then sitting down, leaning against the wall. Lapis put her arms out, "Come here, dork." Peridot sat between her legs and leaned back on her, facing away. Lapis wrapped her arms around her, Peridot smiled happily, enjoying this. This day has been quite interesting...
