Peridot sighed softly, she looked up at Lapis again. She smiled. Lapis smiled back. Peridot was about to speak until a pair of women came in. "Oh, um. Hello..." She stood up. Lapis looked on in confusion. "Peridot, we need your help on something... Secret." "I can't right now!" "Why can't you?" "I have to take care of my new roommate!" "She can take care of herself, now come we need your help!" Peridot glanced over at Lapis, then back at the women, which Lapis did not know. Lapis nodded, "Go ahead, I'll be fine..." Peridot sighed, "Okay, I will come..." "Good, now let's go..." They guided her out, walking away in the middle day rush.
Lapis couldn't help but be curious, since she had no idea where they went. She got up and went over to the window, looking outside. They were gone, not to be seen. Lapis wondered when Peridot would be back, since there was nothing to do (She didn't want to snoop around). She also didn't know the town to well, it was like she was in a cage, stuck here in this cafe, with a needy begging cat.
She groaned and got up, walking towards the back of the cafe, heading to the back room. She sighed and walked into the back room area. She walked into their room, she walked over to her bed and sat down. "Might as well sleep for now..." She leaned back onto the bed, and pulled the thin covers over herself. Shutting her eyes. She can't believe that she doesn't feel comfortable when Peridot wasn't around. She's been gone for only 5 minutes or so now. She sighed, and kept trying to fall asleep. It took her awhile to finally fall into slumber. With the question still echoing through her head.
