It was the bright morning, the princess still asleep in the back of the cabin. In a comfier bed then her own in the castle. She slowly awoke, yawning softly as she rolled onto her back. She glanced over at the other bed, Peridot wasn't there. She probably got up already. She sat up, and stretched her back out, as she stood up, Peridot rushed in with a plate with breakfast. When she saw Lapis up already, she perked up and blushed lightly. "I made us breakfast..." Lapis smiled, "Well, thank you." Peridot nodded, "We can sit out in the cafe." Lapis shook her head, "No, No, come over here. Lets sit in bed and eat." Peridot nodded, "Wait, with you?' Lapis nodded, "Yes, silly..." Lapis sat back down, scooting back so she could lean on the wall. She patted next to her so Peridot would sit next to her. Peridot handed her the plate, "Er, let me get mine..." She rushed off, to get hers. Lapis looked down at her plate and smiled. "She's sweet..." She picked up a fork, and cut the weirdly shaped pancake with the side of the fork. She took a bite and smiled happily. "She's a good cook.." She whispered.
Peridot came back in and sat next to her, "Enjoying the meal?" Lapis nodded, "Yes, you're a very good cook." Peridot blushed and smiled, "Hehe, thanks..." Lapis smiled, and continued to eat happily, Peridot ate as well, glancing over at her every so often. Lapis finished up quite quickly, "Ah, much better. Thank you, Peridot..." Peridot nodded, and continued to eat. Lapis sat up and scooted close to the edge of the bed. 'I'm going to put this away." "Okay..." Peridot mumbled, eating still. Lapis stood up and headed to the kitchen, she walked into the kitchen. She looked over at the counter, which had the Cat laying there. Lapis set the dish and fork into the large tub (a sink) and headed back into the room. Peridot was laying down in Lapis' bed, the plate next to her. Lapis smiled and walked over to her, "You took too long, so now I took your bed..." She mumbled, and stuck her tongue out. Lapis rolled her eyes, "I might as well take yours then..." She teased. "What?! No!" She sat up and fumbled off the bed. Almost tripping on the way there. "Geez, calm down. It's just a bed..." Lapis reassured. "I keep things in my bed!" Lapis backed up, "Okay, Okay, I won't touch it..." Peridot sighed in relief and nodded. Lapis bit her lip, wondering what was in the bed...
