Lapis went to one of the tables, and picked up a wooden fork. "Thank god, I'm starving!" She explained, and began to eat. She looked up to see the blonde walking over to her. Lapis swallowed her food and looked over, "Oh hey." The blonde perked up, and waved, "Hey, can I sit with you?" Lapis thought for a second, teasing her. The blonde waited, getting inpatient. "Okay." Lapis smirked slightly, the blonde sighed in relief and sat down. "Oh, um, by the way. I'm Peridot. I'm a Spell Caster." Lapis nodded, "Is that why you were banished here?" Lapis asked, curious. "Who said I was banished here? I was born here." She said, raising a brow. "Oh, who was your mother?" "Yellow Diamond" Lapis almost choked, "The banished Queen of the Homelands?!" Peridot nodded slowly, "Woah..." Lapis looked surprised, "So your basically an ex Princess type then?" Peridot shook her head, "No no, I'm not a princess" Lapis nodded, "I'm the daughter of Blue Diamond" Peridot nodded, "I'm not surprised, I kinda figured." Lapis rolled her eyes, and chuckled, "Is it the dress?" "No, I mean yeah but. Your hair is blue, your skin in tanish, and you're fairly tall. Much taller than me." She heckled. Lapis nodded, "But you're short, Yellow Diamond is tall..." Peridot shrugged, "Not sure."
After the young princess ate she looked back over to Peridot and shared a small, friendly smile. "Thank you for that, I was very hungry." Peridot smiled and nodded, "It's no problem!" Lapis sighed softly and stood up. "So, Peridot. Where will I stay?" Peridot got up, and motioned her hand to follow her, "My cabin here is really large, so I live in the back here." She said, grabbing one of her candles then walking towards the back. Lapis nodded, and followed her to the back of the small cafe. She opened the door to a fairly big room. Dark oak walls, small windows near the ceiling, three beds, a small dog bed, two dishes (which has food and water), a desk with papers and books, and finally a small couch. Lapis looked around, it was welly lit with a candaire. "How do you get that lit up there?" Peridot twirled around her hand and started flooding upwards, "It's called, magi-" She bumped her head on the ceiling, "Ack!" She said, slowly flooding down. Lapis looked at her worried, "Are you alright?" Peridot nodded and landed. "Okay, good..." Lapis mumbled, Peridot lazily walked to her bed, rubbing the newly formed bump. She groaned and laid down. "Er, Peridot?" Another groan. Lapis giggled lightly, and walked over to her. "What's wrong, Spell Caster?"
"I'm tired... And my bump hurts." "Don't you know a healing spell?" "Nope..." She mumbled, and groaned afterward. "Maybe you should get some rest..." Lapis pulled the blankets up for Peridot, and walked over to her bed, sitting down on the edge. Peridot hugged onto her blankets, facing away from Lapis. She took off her glasses, putting them behind her before slowly falling into slumber. Lapis sighed softly and decided to get sleep herself. She laid down, pulling the blankets over her. She turned to face Peridot, but she was facing the other way. So she smiled softly, and thought, 'This isn't to bad of a place...'
