Lapis was enjoying this alot, holding her tight. Peridot closed her eyes, still leaning back on her, she was hugging Lapis' arms as well. "Comfy?" Lapis asked, softly. Peridot nodded, "Very..." Lapis smiled, she knew they were just friends, buddies, etc etc. But she didn't care, she was just glad to be with someone like her.
After awhile of cuddling, they noticed it was dark out. Well, Lapis noticed, "Hey. Peridot?'' "Hm?" She replied lazily, her eyes still closed. "It's night..." Peridot slowly opened her eyes, "Oh... It is." She closed her eyes again. Lapis waited for a reply. No reply... "Peridot? Aren't we going to go to bed?" "I'm in bed..." She mumbled, Lapis sighed. "I meant, going to sleep..." "I know, I'll fall asleep here." She did sound tired. "How are you tired? You took a four hour nap about one hour ago..." "I dunno..." Lapis pulled her closer, "Fine, we'll sleep here..." Peridot smiled happily and opened her eyes. Meanwhile, Lapis closed her's. "One more thing..." Peridot said, turning around, now facing Lapis. Lapis' eyes blinked open, she looked down at her. "This is more comfortable..." Peridot mumbled, she did have a light blush, but Lapis didn't notice. "O-Oh, okay..." Lapis chuckled softly and nodded. Peridot buried her face in her shoulder. Lapis placed her hands on her back, rubbing her back gently. Peridot smiled happily, even though Lapis couldn't see it.
Peridot evenually fell asleep again, Lapis sighed. "Nothing else but friends..."
