As soon as the next day rolled in you wasted no second to explore the town on your first real day in gravity falls. You were fast asleep on the day before after having dinner with your aunt. Especially the long bus ride really tired you out. Your first real day started with a breakfast. Right after that you changed clothes and planned on going to the mystery shack with Lisa.

"You know, the Mystery Shack is just a mere tourist trap. I've been there a few times and it never managed to seriously impress me. Besides that the owner is quiet weird as well so...I don't really like that place" Lisa told you while you and her got ready to leave the house.

"C'mon! I love mysteries and I really wanna see the shack for myself! So please!" you pleaded and Lisa just sighed and muttered an "alright alright" under her breath. You two than left the house and walked to the Mystery Shack. It was deep in the woods, a bit further away from the town. But walking through the forest and inhaling the fresh air was just amazing for you.

Soon, you arrived at the place. There were a few people but not too many and it really looked kind of weird. With a big smile on your face you entered the shack.

Turned out that it was just a simple tourist trap, like Lisa said. There wasn't any super mysterious stuff there, just weird, fake things that were made to trick the tourists.

"Hello and welcome at the Mystery Shack!" the guy at the cashier greeted you. He wore a black smoking and a red fez with a weird symbol on it wich didn't fit him at all. But you shrugged that all off and greeted him as friendly as he greeted you.

"I think you are new in town, right? I've never seen you here" the man asked and you noded.

"Yeah, I'm just spending my summer vacations here and I also wanna solve some mysteries!" you said with a proud tone. The man chuckled.

"Woah, you should definetely hang out with my dudes some day! They are called Dipper and Mabel Pines. Dipper is the one that loves mysteries, too! I think they will visit again this summer." he told you with a smile on his face.

"I'd love to meet them, thank you!" You suddenly felt a tap on your shoulder.

"(Y/n), can we go now?" Lisa said with a bit of annoyence in her tone. You sighed and turned to the man again.

"I would love to talk a bit more, but I have to go."

"No problem dude. By the way, the name's Soos." the man now introduced himself. You smiled and introduced yourself too.

"(Y/n), (L/n). Hope to see you around!" and with that, your aunt dragged you out of the shack.

"I don't understand what your problem is, Soos is so nice!" you said while you walked with Lisa to the next place.

"I'm not really getting along with him, but that's another story." she replied and sighed again.

"Now, how about we go and eat something at my favourite café in town?" Lisa asked and before you knew it, she dragged you to yet another place. It was a café named "Greasy's Diner". You sat down at a table with your aunt and she ordered some burgers and fries for both of you. A woman with big, grey hair and only one eye opened gave you the food.

"Say Lisa, is that your niece? Uhm..what was her name again.."

"(Y/n)" you interupted the thinking woman and took a bite from your burger.

"Yes she is! She'll stay at my house for the whole summer " Lisa explained to the woman and the two started chatting about all diffrent kind of stuff, mostly stories about you. You frowned and tried your best to enjoy the food that was offered to you while ignoring the non-stop talking woman. When you were done you wanted to explore the town a bit more, but you already feared that Lisa might never stop ranting about you or just your family in general.
