a normal movie night

"The town looks espacially beautiful tonight, doesn't it?"

"Indeed. But it's not as beautiful as you are~"

"Aw, stop that! I'm getting all embarrased!"

"..."

"Honey...?"

"I really hope we can stay like this forever..."

"...Me too, darling. I love you so m-"

"DANG IT", you suddenly screamed, causing Bill to almost get a heart attack. He winced and looked at you with a shocked expression.

"What the heck was that!?"

"He is betraying her!", you said with a raised tone and pointed towards the TV. Bill sighed deeply. He still - after 1/2 an hour into the movie you decided to watch- didn't understand why you got so emotional during those stupid movies.

"And? It's just a movie", Bill simply responded, causing you to give him a death glare. He quickly took it back.

"Woah, sorry! I am not used to this, that's all". After that you two quietly continued to watch the movie while you were chewing on popcorn and held onto your fluffy blanket. Bill started to get more and more interested in the movie,  too. It came out that the one man had a secret past and was really a monster who once almost destroyed the world. But he was able to start anew and fell in love with a woman who moved to the town where he lived, too. Bill could relate to the main male character in some ways, but of course didn't say that aloud.
There were a lot of moments in the movie where you would squeal like a child or yell at the TV. Bill always tried really hard to hold a giggle back. It was cute to him at how you reacted to a simple  movie like that.

'Can a movie be like the real life?'
Was what Bill suddenly questioned himself.

"You-..you are a monster! I shouldn't have trusted you...! I-I thought you loved me!"

"Please- Please wait, darl-"

"Don't call me darling! It's over! I don't ever wanna see you again!"

"No..! Jessica, wait!!!"

Bill's eye was glued to the TV by than. The towns folk started to chase after the man and actually managed to kill him. And the girlfriend was the one who pierced the blade through his heart with tears in her eyes. Bill even flinched at that scene. You noticed rather quickly that he got kinda moved by the movie since the part with the monster.

"Bill..?", you spoke quietly. He blinked a few times and looked up at you.

"It's just a movie", you said with a small smile and took his little black hand in yours. He widdened his eye and looked at your interwinded hands. He noded his pointy top in response and continued to watch the movie. You actually got a bit worried for him. Maybe he was seeing his own past in that?

The movie finished after a few more minutes.

"Well!" -You clapped your hands together and caught Bill's attention as the credits showed- "That was it!"

The demon lazily hummed in respinse, sounding tired.

"Hey, are you alright?", you asked Bill. He simply shrugged and leaned back against the couch. You sighed quietly.

"C'mon, I'll carry you upstairs and than you can rest", you now offered the demon with a smile and wrapped your arms around him, but jerked them back as soon as they made contact with his body. He was hot. And not in the good way.

"Wow-! Are you sure that you are okay!? You are literally burning"

"Huh...? Burning...?". Bill looked at himself. You started to get more worried by second. Maybe he was sick? Can demon's even get sick?

"I think they can", Bill replied. You scoffed slightly, not really liking the fact that Bill was reading your thoughts yet again. But that didn't matter right than.

"So, what now? I gotta get you upstairs before Lisa comes back. But I can't ta-"

"What? Do you think that I can't do anything on my own?", Bill suddenly snapped at you. You flinched slightly and raised an eyebrow.

"Huh..? No I ju-"

"I am not as weak as you might think! I can also get upstairs by my own!"

"I never said that you are we-"

"I don't care!" Wow. He was now burning with anger and body heat. You also noticed that his yellow tone started to change to a more red looking one. What was happening to him all of the sudden?

"Geez Bill, calm down! I didn't even do anything!", you slightly yelled back at him, getting annoyed by his rude attitude.

"Whatever!". He threw his hands in the air and his body was entirely red and his eye black by than. That made you sick with worry but it was no use to try to help him when he was acting like that.
Bill than hopped off the couch and started walking to the stairs. Your eyes always followed him.

"You sure you don't want me to he-"

"NO!". You flinched again. Somewhere his sudden acting really hurted you on the inside. You two had such a peacful time just a few moments ago and than he was like that.
You watched Bill while he tried to climb the stairs, one by one. It actually sounded like he was hurting every single part of his body. He would always hit the stairs with one of his edges and than let out a hiss, followed by a lot of swearing. You tip-toed your way to the stairs and stood behind him.

"Bill-"

"Just leave me alone", he cut you off before you could even really start talking. You sighed deeply.

"Why are you acting like this all of the sudden? It hurts y'know.", you said, your voice was nothing but a mere whisper. Than Bill stopped and turned around to look at you. You looked him straight in the eye and he suddenly softened.

"Sorry...", he quietly apologized while his colour changed back to yellow. Although he still had that angered expression on.
He sat down on one of the stairs and you did the same.

"Why were you like that all of the sudden? You just acted like me when I'm on my period", you joked, trying to get back into a better mood. You elbowed the demon playfully and he chuckled slightly. Then he sighed.

"Can you carry me?", the demon now asked and held his hands out towards you. And of course, you couldn't say no to such an adorable creature.

"Sure". You lifted him up and carried him upstairs with a small smile on your lips. When you were in your room, you sat him down on your bed and sighed deeply again.

"Uhm...I'm sorry again for what just happened", Bill apologized again while his gaze averted you. You carefully pated his pointy top.

"It's okay. I think the movie just had scenes that reminded you of your own past, huh?", you questioned and looked at the demon. He simply shrugged.

"I have no ide-". Suddenly, Bill's body got engulfed by a blue light wich almost looked like fire. You gasped and took a few steps back..
