The weapon made a loud, roaring sound when Stanley pulled the trigger. Your legs started running over to Bill, throwing yourself in front of him to protect him -- a rather reckless and stupid action.

You mentally prepared yourself to regret your spontaneous decision. You expected pain and blood. You expected everything except what actually happened.
Standing in front of Bill you held your arms in front of your face in some kind of protective manner. While your eyes were tightly squeezed together, you waited for the beam to hit you.

Yet it never came.

Silence settled in. You slowly opened your eyes again, only to be met with a rather surprising sight. There was a small, (colour) coloured, slightly transparent wall in front of you. It was around your hight and shimmered lightly as you stared at it. The Pines were looking at it in shock. Turning around you saw that the demon was also quiet shocked.

But his shocked expression quickly changed into pure amusement and fascination.
While ignoring the agonizing pain that was still present, he grabbed the loose string of his eyepatch and pulled on it, revealing his black eye. No one really understood what exactly he did or what he wanted to do.

A sharp pain went through your body while you looked at him. You felt how your body was slowly surrendering, giving into the enormous power that was suddenly hovering above you, and making you sink to the ground until you laid flat on your stomach.

For him, it wasn't an all too pleasing sight. But it was necessary.

"(Y-y/n)! No, wait!"

The faint screams, the cries, it all faded into nothingness as your vision became black. They ran over to you, wanting to help you, check up on you. Though the demon was ahead of them, quickly lifting your fragile body up and carrying you bridal-like. He was flying, getting out of everyone's reach before he created a portal and dissapeared.

The Pines family was lost. They let the weapons hit the ground and stared at the spot where he dissapeared with you, while the town was slowly going down a few feet behind them.

A loud cough echoed through the area. Bill was completely spent, all his energy gone. He just had a little bit of power left to gently place your uncuncious body on a bed before he broke down on the floor beside the furniture, violently coughing while holding his arm. He cried out for help, for somebody to stop the venom that was destroying his body from the inside out. Footsteps hurried over, a worried, shaky voice asking what was wrong, before quickly taking action and trying to heal the demon from whatever it was that slowly killed him -- quiet painfully, one might add.

It took several hours. Hours of torture, of screaming and crying. In moments like that, he was actually thankful to have another demon by his side. Even though he'd never admit it.

"Are you alright now, brother?" The gentle voice asked, looking down at the blonde while wrapping a bandage around his arm. Bill noded, closing his eyes and allowing himself to rest for a few moments.

"Then...m-mind telling me what happened? Or...how that happened?" Will was refering to his brother's arm, not keeping his eyes off of it while he still tied the bandage around the wound.

"It's odd, isn't it? Stanford's new weapon seems to have some kind of spreadable substance in them. Like a venom. A rather painful one at that. But now that that's resolved...tell me, is she awake?"

"Not yet, but she's slowly coming back to us. It'll take her a few more hours, though." Bill made a hum of approval, carefully sitting up as soon as the bluenette finished the bandage. The matress underneath him made a horrible creaking sound, gaining an annoyed groan from him.

"I'm s-sorry, we never really u-used-"

"Please tell me that the bed she's sleeping on is in a better condition."

"Well, she's sleeping on your bed, so--" Bill cut the other demon off with a cough, nodding afterwards. He stood up and stretched his tired muscles, ordering his brother to help him get to his bedroom. Without hesitating, Will obeyed his brother.

The room was mildly lit with a few yellow chandeliers, all candles glowing in a blue, almost hypnotizing light. Bill sighed softly and looked over at the king-sized bed where you were, tucked under the black sheets. A pleased smile spread across his lips while he approached you slowly.

"What a beautiful, fragile creature. Just by looking at her I get this warm, tingly feeling inside my body," he breathed and carefully took your hand in his, stroking the back of your palm with his thumb.

"All mine..~"

"You really are insane."

Bill clicked his tongue and chuckled quietly, looking at the blue haired demon and showing him a grin that sent shivers down his spine. While awkwardly clearing his throat he turned away and left the room, leaving the demon alone with his oh so beautiful creature.

The blonde continued to stare at your form, occasionally running his fingers through your hair or caressing your hands.

"Who knew that you were a human being who's able to wield a demon's power. Truly...fascinating," Bill mumbled, half to himself, and started tracing a triangular figure on your hand. He did so on the same spot two or three times, until your actual triangle sign started glowing lightly. The demon gently lifted your hand up and held his lips against the sign.

"The sign that bounds us to one another. The sign that makes it possible for you to...use powers that humans can only dream of. I can't wait to see what else our bond offers."

Bill looked at you one last time before he stepped away from the bed, leaving the room and closing the doors behind him.
