You sat next to Dipper on the ground, patting his back as he violently caughed, trying to catch his breath. The chains that were around his throat moments ago left a deep, red mark that would definitely be hard to hide. You swallowed harshly.

"Are you alright?" you asked, your voice filled with impatience and worry. After Bill's colours changed to blue he dissapeared into thin air, freeing Dipper in the process. Right then you were beyond worried about not only Dipper, but mostly Bill. Who knew what he was going to do after everything that had happened.
The brunette noded shakily, clearing his throat before looking at you.

"I'll be fine. Go after Bill and make sure he doesn't make this any worse," Dipper begged, making you nod in response before standing up and hurrying to the door. You quickly put on a pair of shoes and a light jacket before opening the door and leaving the house.

The fresh, rather cold air hit your face and made you inhale sharply.
You ran through the small town and looked out for Bill, occasionally shouting his name, hoping that he'd react somehow. Or at least give you a sign, showing you where he was.

As if your prayers had been heard, the sky suddenly lit up, along with the triangular sign on the back of your hand. It was a deep, bloody red, and sent a shiver down your spine.

"Oh no..," you mumbled under your breath. Instinctively, your legs carried you to the place where you guessed Bill was at that moment. And you guessed right.
It took you a few minuites to arrive there, but when you did you saw him standing in front of the usually invisible barrier, looking down on the ground. One of his hands was leaning flat against the barrier, making it glow faintly.

"B-bill?" Nothing. It was almost like he couldn't hear you. Deciding to step closer to him you said his name again, making him flinch. You were almost right behind him when he suddenly turned around, looking at you.
He is not okay, was what you thought the moment he showed you his face. Though his colours were yellow once again, his lips seemed dry, he had a small eye bag under his one visible eye and was smiling in a sad way.

"Soon, my love," he whispered, bearly audible, but still loud enough for you to hear. Confusion quickly settled in. You opened your mouth to say something, noticing how incredibly dry it suddenly was. Though you wanted to ask him what he meant, no words came out.

"Cat caught your tongue?" He asked with a small chuckle, turning away to look at the barrier again. Silence dominated the situation for a few moments until he removed his hand from the barrier and turned back around to face you.

"Only a short amount of time passed, but I actually thought about a lot of things," he said, taking a few steps towards you. You could feel the sweat drench your skin, the throbbing of your own eyes and the thumping of your heart against your chest. Your fingers were curled into a fist, nails digging into your palm. Your instincts told you to back away, but your body decided against it.

"If I can't have you, no one will."

His eye colour changed to red, a yellow aura surrounding his body. You felt how your lungs were burning and tears pricked at the corners of your eyes. Everything felt a lot more heavy than it usually was, and the scary scenery in front of you didn't make it any better. Shadows emerged from the ground behind Bill, quickly multiplying and seemingly making their way to the town's centre. Your head snapped back to look after them. The sky was slowly turning completely red.

"It'll all be over soon, don't worry." You looked back at him, taking a deep breath.

"W-what are you talking about?" He didn't answer, but seemed absent for a small moment. Suddenly, you heard all too familiar voices coming closer, shouting your name.

"Oh, if it isn't the Pines family. I already figured that you'd come here," Bill said, grinning. You turned around to see Dipper, Mabel, Stanford and Stanley approaching quickly, armed with weapons that almost looked like guns.

"We can't allow him to start another Weirdmageddon!" You heard Stanford shout, making your eyes widden lightly. You completely turned away from Bill to look at the Pines.

"(Y/n), are you alright? You don't look all to well," Mabel said, placing a hand on your shoulder. You noded shakily.

"I-I'll be fine. What about you, Dipper? Are you doing better than before?" The other twin looked your way and noded shakily. He still looked exhausted, but had that piercing look in his eyes that made him look ready to fight for the town and it's people.

"We have to work together! And defeat him again like we always do," Dipper said, earning himself several nods of agreement from his family. With you, it was a different kind of story.

"What-" before you were even able to finish your sentence, Stanford launched forward and attacked the dream demon with full force. A bright, purple beam shot out of the weapon and almost hit Bill, but he was able to dodge the deadly thing at the last second. Whilst doing so he almost tripped over his own two feet, slightly losing balance but fortunately quickly catching himself.

That was when you realised that he himself was also drastically exhausted because of what had happened.

"Please, don't hurt him!"

"(Y/n), we have to stop him! There's no other way," Ford said, aiming the gun at the demon once again while Dipper and Stanley did their best to corner the demon, giving him a lower chance of escaping or dodging. In your opinion, it was unfair -- four people against one. Even if he was a demon.

Your eyes were glued to the demon. He licked his dry lips while summoning chains from his back, wrapping them around Dipper and Stanley. Ford was quick to act and shot the chains, making them dissapear in the matter of a few seconds. Bill was visibly surprised at that.

"I guess you upgraded your playthings, Sixer," he mumbled, half to himself, and smirked in a challenging manner.

"Just for you."

Bill stretched his hands, rolling his shoulders back as fire surrounded his hands. The older man gulped, tightening his grip around the weapon and waiting for the demon to make the first move. He gladly did so, launching at the human and skillfully snatching the weapon out of his hands before pinning him to the ground with two other chains.

Dipper and Stanley wasted no time to try and help their family member, aiming at the demon and shooting him with full force; Stanley missed, but Dipper actually managed to shoot his left arm. With a yelp the demon let go of Ford and held his arm with a pained look in his eye.

"Fuck," he groaned, sinking to his knees.

"This is different...Your weapons are manipulated," Bill noticed and bit his lip, trying to tightly hold onto his arm while a crimson liquid started dripping down from it.

You couldn't belive what was happening in front of you. Tears made their way down your cheeks while your body trembled, watching your friends fight against the person that you loved dearly.
It was too much to handle.

"This is it, then," Stanley said and raised his weapon again, seemingly aiming at Bill's head.

"Say goodnight."
