the cipher kingdom

You blinked, closed your eyes, and blinked again. You sat up, dragged your feet off the bed, and rubbed your knuckles onto your eyes. When you let your (e/c) orbs wander around the room, you wondered for a split second if you were still dreaming. The atmosphere in the room was so cozy, with the chandeliers illuminating the room in a blue light and all the black and yellow colours, that it felt rather surreal.

But you weren't afraid. The style of the room, with all the colours and symbols, made it pretty obvious for you to realise that the room you slept in was probably Bill's. It just seemed to suit him.

Deciding to stand up, you let your feet hit the black tiled floor and looked around again. The room was simply decorated; A king-sized bed, two closets, a table with four chairs, no windows and five chandeliers that dangled above everything. The main colour that was used for the furniture was black, the chandeliers were painted in gold and a few triangle signs on the walls were also gold.

It was simple, yet unique.

You were about to walk around when the door suddenly opened. There stood a small creature that resembled a square, holding a paper bag. It had two eyes and was purple.

"Oh! Golly, you're awake! I didn't expect that," they said with the weirdest accent you've ever heard. You furrowed your eyebrows and noded.

"Rrrright, then let's take you to the king, shall we? You can walk on your own right?" Again, you only noded, making the creature sigh in response.

"Then, come along. I'll lead the way."

Everything was painted in either black or gold. Triangles decorated the walls of the long hallway that lead to wherever the creature was taking you to. There were also a lot of doors in either red, blue or yellow. Some had writings on them, other's didn't. It was a little confusing in your opinion.

You soon arrived in front of a big, black door with two golden knobs. The small square grabbed both of them and pulled, making the doors open with a horrible creaking sound. You flinched.

"Are you serious? I told you guys to repair them, didn't I? I'm sure I did," a voice complained, a voice that you'd recognize anywhere.

"Bill?" You called out, stepping further into the room as soon as the doors opened fully. That time, you were even more amazed by the room's appearance. Big and open, painted in gold whilst the furniture was black. Again, there was one big, silver chandelier that provided light for the room. But the most impressive thing was a black throne with red and gold decoration that stood tall and proud at the end of the room.

Most importantly, Bill sat on top of said throne with a black cane in his hand.

"(Y/n)!" His eye lit up with excitement when he spotted you. The demon rose up from his seat and headed over to you as you did the same. The two of you met in the middle of the room and you didn't hesitate to hug Bill. Taken a bit by surprise he chuckled softly, stroking your hair in a calming matter.

"So happy to see me?" He questioned, making you smile.

"After what happened, yes. Definitely," you admitted, hiding your face in his chest so he wouldn't be able to see the heat rising to your cheeks. It was so comfortable to stay like that, in his arms with your face buried in his chest, inhaling his scent. You could have stayed like that forever. But there were other things that you had to discuss with him.

"Bill, can you please explain to me what happened?" You asked, your voice coming out a little muffled as you were still hiding your face. The demon patted your head.

"Memorie's a bit foggy, huh? Actually, let me show you what happened," he said, his fingers wandering to your temple and gently pressing against it.

"Close your eyes." You did like he said, closing your eyes as the memories started returning. You saw the fight you had, Dipper getting injured, Bill running away, the creatures invading the town, the Pines fighting against Bill and last but not least, you protecting Bill. When you opened your eyes again Bill removed his fingers and pulled away from the hug, looking down at you.

"Fascinating, isn't it?" He asked as he saw your confused expression.

"Yes, but...how? How was I able to do that?" Instead of giving you a proper answer, Bill took your hand in his and tapped the palm with his gloved fingers, making your triangle sign appear.

"So, can I use your powers or...?"

"In a way, yes. Obviously not all of my powers, that would be a bit insane, but a part of it," he explained, turning away from you and slowly walking back to his throne while twirling his cane around.

"So, what now? What's happening with Gravity Falls?" You asked more questions, making Bill sigh softly.

"Sweetheart, forget about that dumb town. You're here now. Isn't that what counts? That reminds me--" he turned on his heels to face you again-- "you were out for quiet some time. Aren't you hungry? I bet you are. We'll just get your pretty body some food and then we'll move on to the...important stuff. I can show you around if you'd like, I mean, your mind is probably bursting with questions!" Whilst saying so he approached you, wrapping an arm around your shoulder and slowly guiding you out of the room.

Soon enough you were back in the hallway, silently following Bill. Odly enough, he kept having that nervous kind of smile on his lips, his eye scanning the doors. Not being able to see him like that, you wanted to ask him what was wrong, yet you never got the chance.

"Here we are," he announced, opening a blue door. Behind it was another big and open room with an insanely large, black table inside. It had around 30 chairs around it and you couldn't help but ask what for.

"Believe it or not, I sometimes tend to invite quiet a lot of people to...keep me entertained. Living an eternal life can get quiet boring, y'know?"

The demon lead you to the table, pulling a gold chair out and offering you to take a seat. You didn't decline it and sat down, looking at the extremely shiny table.

"It's so clear and...clean."

"Fun fact; Last time I cleaned it is around a thousand years ago. My servants clean it every day, whether I'm here or not."

"And how many servants do you have?"

Bill rubbed his chin in thought, closing his eye for a moment.

"666. Funny, isn't it?"

Your mouth hung open in shock, but you quickly regained your composure as two of Bill's servants joined you, holding a silver plate with all kinds of different food on it.

"Your majesty, the food you suggested," the two servants said in sync, placing the plate right in front of you. You looked at Bill as if asking for permission to start eating, and it only took you one nod from him before you digged in.
And it was beyond delicious.

Unfortunately you weren't able to eat everything that they brought you, but in the end you were sated and satisfied, lazily leaning back in your chair.

"Pretty good cooks, aren't they?" The blonde demon asked, sitting on top of the table in front of you. You didn't even realize that the remains of your dinner -- or lunch, whatever time it was -- were already gone. Bill was obviously pleased to see you like that, a small grin placed on his lips.

"They definitely are," you agreed, looking up at him.

"I hope you're not all too exhausted or tired now. We have a schedule, after all!"

"Do we?" You asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion. Bill noded, pulling a black pocket watch out of his yellow coat and seemingly checking the time.

"Indeed. I want to show you around my cipher kingdom now that I got the chance."

"But what about Gravity--"

"Oh, don't worry, the gravity isn't much different here."

"Bill you know what I--"

"The schedule, (Y/n)! Come along now."

And with that, he dragged you out of the room and yet again into the hallway.
