"Are we there yet?"
"We've only been in the car for thirty minutes!"
"What time and day is it? I lost track of the date since I've been, you know, kidnapped and all."
"It's 12:47am, Monday, April 10th. But it doesn't matter anyways. Why do you care so much?" I am supposed to have state tests today in English class. I've been here for a month! Last time I was at home, it was March 14. Who new that would be my last day truly living.

"Are we there yet?"
"You just asked that ten minutes ago."
"Oh, well it felt like I asked that four hours ago. How much longer do we have?"
"3 hours and like fourth five minutes. It's about-"
"Four hour drive?"
"Yes."he says. "Smart kid."he mutters.
"Thanks?" He looked back and has shocked face, I think it's because I heard that and I wasn't supposed to.

I just sit here doing nothing. NOTHING! Bored out of my mind.
Thump. I fall forward off the chair. We stopped, I freeze. Why did we stop? He gets out. He's gone for about two minutes. He comes back in and throws a bag and a cup at me. I take the bag and read it, sunflower seeds. I guess the cup was to spit the seeds one
"Your mom loves those." I just sit there in silence, eating the seeds. I can see why my mom liked them, they were good.

"Are we there yet?"
"No. One more hour."
I groan. This is insane how long this is taking. Especially when you have no devices or games or anything. I already ate all the seeds.
"Why are we going to New York?" I ask him.
