When we pulled into the parking lot in front of the Underground, I felt like my heart would explode. I was beyond excited, I couldn't wait to tell Namjoon what we had done.
Star and I got out as soon as J-Hope slowed down, and then J-Hope drove off with Angel. They were going back home to drop off the money and guns, and then they were coming back with the others.
They don't usually all come out once, because Namjoon likes to have at least 2 people watching the house to make sure no one raids us, but apparently this performance was a big deal, so Namjoon was letting everyone come.
I clutched Star's hands in mine as we practically ran into the building.
"I still don't see why I couldn't keep the gun," I complained lightly, grinning at Star.
I felt like a new person, like I had discovered the meaning to my life, to the universe. Armed robbery might not be the ideal calling, but I felt like I never wanted to do anything else now that I had gotten a taste of this life.
"Yeah, cause your clothes are loose enough to fit a gun in them babe," she said, and I laughed, looking down at my corset and skin-tight leather pants before nodding.
Keeping a tight grip on her arm, I pulled both of us through the club in the front, shoving through the sweaty, lust - filled mass of bodies. There was a brief feeling of relief as we walked through the door to the back, but I stopped in my tracks staring at the room that was usually less condensed.
The room was packed, nearly every open area was filled with people, dancing and screaming, bouncing excitedly waiting for the show to start.
"Woah, this is legit," I breathed out, staring in awe for a moment.
Star scoffed lightly, nudging my shoulder.
"Of course it is, I mean, Yoongi is in it," she said haughtily, laughing.
"Oh, that makes it all obvious of course, thanks," I responded dryly, smirking and shaking my head.
Still clutching her arm, I lead us through the crowd, shouldering and elbowing our way through to the very back, where the contestants usually waited.
I tried to be careful, but I was bound to step on a few people, my studded high heels digging down painfully. A few people turned to yell at us, but they recognized Star's face no doubt, and they had seen me around Namjoon enough to know that we weren't people to be messed with unless you had a death wish. If I had my gun I probably would've pulled it out just to see their faces.
They never should've let me use a gun, now I'm gonna constantly pull it out for fun, if they even let me use it again... it all depends on how Namjoon reacts to the news that we went on an unauthorized job, took the guns without asking, and robbed 8 gas stations all over town.
Before we could make it to the distant figures of Namjoon and Suga, the music started, and then someone unfamiliar was rapping.
"Ah, they're not bad," I spoke directly in Star's ear so she could hear me.
"Yah, Yoongi is better," she spoke dismissively, her avid love for Suga overpowering any possibility of her giving anyone else a chance.
"Of course, and Namjoon-ah," I spoke softer, hoping Star didn't catch the last part of what I said. It seemed luck was on my side, because she didn't react or tease me yet again for saying Namjoon-ah.
We found a relatively vacant place and began to bounce, slowly feeling the music before dancing for real. At least, Star was, I'm sure I looked like a discombobulated pig, but I couldn't bring myself to care.
