Ainsley's POV

I slammed the doors open in the ICU, and saw Nick and Max walking into a room with a green haired boy. Delilah, James (who Del was ignoring) Casey, and the kids were behind me. I walked over to the door and saw Nick setting Raven down. I walked over right after he set her down and caught his attention. He turned around and smiled and started to say something. "Hey Ai-" I cut him off and slapped him, hard. He held his cheek, wincing. "What the hell?!" He yelled. I poked his chest, harshly. "THIS IS YOUR FAULT! IF IT HADN'T BEEN FOR YOUR EX, SHE WOULDN'T BE IN THIS PLACE!" At this point, the others had fanned out around the room and we're watching as tears spilled down my face and plopped onto the cold tile floor. I spun away from him and faced Max. "And YOU should have already been there to protect her..." I looked to James and the kids. "Jessica, Carter. Your mom is outside, go to her and go home." My gaze flicked to James. "You, get out." James' eyes flashed with hurt, and he stomped out, furious. I turned back to Raven and I started to sing a song that we learned together in middle school.

Over wood and wold, over flood and fell, over flashing lake and gleaming dell.
The harvest moon looks down, the harvest moon looks down.
And when heaven smiles, with love and light, and Earth looks back so dazzling bright, in such a scene on such a night, Earths children should not frown.
The Harvest moon casts a magical glow, enchanting all the world below.
Bathed in a silvered shine, behold, natures face divine.
And when heaven smiles, with love and light, and Earth looks back so dazzling bright. In such a scene on such a night, Earths children should not frown.
When the harvest moon looks down, Earths children, should, not frown...

I stopped singing as my tears fell faster and faster, I had just reached the end of 'Autumn Vespers' and her eyes fluttered open. And she said something I didn't expect.
"Hey, sis."
