We were walking back to the dorms, talking about everything that had happened in the movie. We got to Raven's dorm and she sighed. "I guess this is goodnight?" I smirked. "Not yet." I put my hands on her hips, pulling her closer to me. Our foreheads were touching and I could feel her breath on my lips. I started to lean in and, of course, Max opened the door. "OH SHIT IM SORRY SO SO SORRY I INTERRUPTED DAMN ASS BALLS!" He screamed. He slammed the door shut and Raven burst into a laughing fit, nearly passing out from laughing so hard. He opened the door again to see her on the ground, and Max and I joined in. After she calmed and wiped a few stray tears away, she got up and sighed. "I have to head to Choir and then my creative writing class, I'll see you tomorrow okay? I'm gonna be out late so." She shrugged and walked out with a final wave behind her. I watched her walk away, smiling. Then I turned to Max and waved before I walked down to my dorm. When I stepped inside, I was met by the suffocating stench of alcohol. I gagged and saw my roommate, Mackenzie, sitting on his bed, chugging a bottle of vodka. I sighed, shaking my head. "Hey, Mack." He looked up, obviously hammered. "Heyyyyyy Auggusttt! Howwwwwwww yooouuuu dooiinnnnn'~?" He giggled and hiccuped. I groaned. "Go to bed, dickhead." I snatched the bottle from his hand, with a whine of protest from Mackenzie, and put it where he couldn't reach it, since he's short. I turned to him, angry. "Why are you drunk in the first place?! Is it that dumbass girlfriend of yours?!" He hung his head and muttered. "Ex..." I stopped, shocked, and sat by him. "Bro, I'm so sorry." He shrugged and laid down, falling asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow. I sighed again an went over to my bed, exhausted. I plopped down, thinking of the events of the night, eventually drifting into a dreamless sleep.
