My Roommate and The Boys

Nick's POV

It's Christmas. Everyone is bustling around campus like there's no tomorrow. Some are going home, some are just saying goodbye to their friends. I was leaning against a tree, just watching, when I heard someone clear their throat behind me. It was Delilah. "Oh, hey Del!" I smiled at her as I said hi, causing her to blush. She opened her mouth to say something, but closed it again and bit her lip. Her brown eyes searched mine, and she sighed. "Nick, would you, um..." She stopped, taking a deep breath. "Would you like to go with me to a movie tonight...?" I stood there, shocked. Ho...ly...BALLS! Delilah Nelson just asked ME out! Okay Nick, stay cool. "Uhhh...y-ya I'd love to." DAMMIT! She smiled at me. "Okay! I'll stop by your dorm at 7, okay?" I nodded, a smile on my face, and watched her walk away. I jumped up and down, punching and kicking the air. I was so excited! I mean, Delilah Nelson, asked ME out!!!!! I realized that my thoughts sounded like a middle school girls and calmed myself, still feeling fuzzy inside. I walked inside the main lobby of the dorm halls with a spring in my step. I walked upstairs, towards the dorm that my friend Frank and I share, and opened the door. "AH, JESUS NICK YOU FUCKIN' ASS DONT SCARE ME LIKE THAT!" I chuckled at that. My roommate was a YouTuber, he was recording another video when I walked in. I walked over to the alarm clock on the nightstand and read the time. 5:30, shit I need to start getting ready.

~time skip to the movies~

I walked into the movie theater just talking and laughing with Delilah. She had told me about once in middle school when her, Ainsley, and Raven walked around their science class just swinging their legs up onto a lab table, saying, "Why have arms when you can have legs like these?!" I was dying. We both eventually calmed down and went to go get snacks. When we got up to the line, I looked away from Delilah's beautiful face for a second, only to see something I never thought I'd be happier to see...
