My Roommate and The Boys

Max's POV

I opened the door to see Raven and August really close to kissing. "OH SHIT IM SORRY SO SO SORRY I INTERRUPTED DAMN ASS BALLS!" I slammed the door shut and heard Raven burst into a laughing fit, nearly passing out from laughing so hard. I opened the door to see her on the ground, and August and I joined in. After she calmed and wiped a few stray tears away, she got up and sighed. "I have to head to Choir and then my creative writing class, I'll see you tomorrow okay? I'm gonna be out late so." She shrugged and walked out with a final wave behind her. I watched as she left. Her red, ruffled crop top showing off her curves, her black skinny jeans hugging her legs, her long, lavender hair swishing behind her as she walked. August did too, and I sighed. Why was love so difficult?! I mean, I love Raven, but I also love Jace at the same time. I was so confused, so I just went an laid on my bed, at that moment receiving a text from Jack.
J: Hiya, Maxxy!
M: Hey Jace wassup?
J: Oh nothin' much just wanted to see if maybe you'd like to go to the park later?
I hesitated answering him. Did Jace just ask me out? No, I'm pretty sure he's straight. Plus, he would never date a guy like me. I replied back to him,
M: Yea sure! It's a date ;)
J: You bet your arse it is!
I laughed and set my phone down, thinking about what could happen if Jace did like me. I shook my head, why have fantasies if they're destined not to come true...
