When Hadrat Esa (alaihis salaam) began to walk, his mother took him to a teacher of the area and said, "Please be the teacher of my child."

The teacher accepted her request and began,"Esa, read 'Bismillah'."

Hadrat Esa (alaihis salaam) replied, "Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Raheem."

The teacher then said, "Now repeat after me: Alif. Baa. Jeem. Daal."

The Prophet politely asked, "Do you know the meanings of these words?"

The teacher replied, "No, I don't."

Hadrat Esa (alaihis salaam) then said, "See, Alif stands for Allah Subhan wa ta'ala. Baa stands for His Bahjat (joy). Jeem stands for His Jalaal (majesty), and Daal stands for his Deen (religion)."

The teacher then turned to Sayyidah Maryam (radi Allahu anha) and said, "Take your son. He's not in need of any teacher. What can I possibly teach him when I myself am his student?"

Lesson

The Prophets were never in need of teachers since they are the direct students of Allah Subhan wa ta'ala.

In addition to this, the knowledge that their Lord granted them is more than what we as ordinary people will ever be able to achieve.
