Josh's P.O.V.
Okay, maybe I just got a bit ahead of myself. But ever since I broke up with Debby, I haven't felt anything towards girls like I did with Tyler. I actually never felt this weird before, it was like my entire view of the world was completely switched around. Like, I thought I was maybe bisexual, but maybe I was entirely gay. Actually, come to think of it, I never felt anything towards any girls ever. Not like Tyler. Not like the adorable dork that I was meeting tonight for Netflix. Not like the lovable guy I was going on a date with to the movies. Not like Tyler Joseph.
I sat down on my old couch that looked like it could be in my grandma's house. I quickly pushed myself back up, as if I had sat down for absolutely no reason. I got out of my work uniform and slipped on a pair of comfortable sweatpants and a t-shirt. I walked out of my apartment with a bag of buttered popcorn and my iPhone 6. I locked the door behind me and confidently knocked on the door to Tyler's apartment.
As I awaited the moment when he opened the door, I twiddled my thumbs and bit my lip. I heard the click of the door unlocking and I stood up straight and put a grin on my lips.
He stood there, on the other side of the doorway. We just stared at each other for a few minutes before one of us finally spoke up.
"So, do you want to come in? I see you brought popcorn!" Tyler asked, with a hint of excitement in his voice. His eyes seemed to glitter hopefully and the corners of his lips turned upwards into a smile.
I nodded kindly and stepped into the sweet-smelling apartment of Tyler Joseph. The aroma of lavender and lilies filled the air and I sat on the leather couch in front of the TV.
"So, what do you want to watch?" Tyler asked, sitting down next to me. He had already taken the popcorn and put it in the microwave.
"How about Avengers: Age of Ultron? It's one of my favourites." I replied, looking over to him in hopes that he would accept my request.
His face lit up as soon as I said the title of the movie. "Oh, God! Yes! I love that movie!"
I whispered, "Yes." just as the microwave beeped to tell us that the popcorn was done. Tyler got up to take care of it and I heard popcorn hitting a plastic bowl. He walked back into the TV room with one bowl and one bag in hand, both filled about halfway with popcorn. He handed one to me, and I immediately grabbed a handful and shoved it in my mouth.
He did the same, and took the remote, pressed the button to enter Netflix, and chose 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'. We began watching the movie and saying the lines along with it.
"You know, I have had a huge crush on Quicksilver since I saw his little Sokovian face." Tyler commented, and I had a small chuckle at that.
I nodded in agreement with a smile on my face. "Yeah, he's pretty cute now that I look at him."
I felt Tyler's eyes stay on me for a little while and my cheeks turned rosy red. I snapped my head towards him and he snapped his away from me. I laughed quietly and he did the same.
Later on in the movie, Tyler was beginning to get tired. He cuddled up to me and he closed his eyes.
By the time Pietro had been shot, Tyler had already been fast asleep. I rested my head on top of his as a small tear fell from my eye at the speedster's death.
I took one final handful of popcorn before drifting into a peaceful sleep.
Once I woke up, Tyler was still sleeping. His brown hair was all over the place. I checked my reflection in the TV across the room. I guess my hair was pretty screwed up too. I softly grinned as I felt Tyler shift beside me. He groaned like I would when I was woken up my an alarm clock.
I ruffled his hair, making it more scattered and he soon began to giggle. I smiled brightly as he stretched his arms out in front of him. This was what I wanted in a relationship.
