Tyler's P.O.V.
When I woke up, I was glad I saw Josh's face as the first thing I saw clearly. I was very pleased with the turnout of the night before. My favourite movie, my favourite guy, a great night. I loved every minute of it, even when I was asleep. Joshua's body warming mine when I was cold was the thing I needed.
I looked up at him and smiled. I smoothed my hair back down after he spread it around and stretched my arms. I enjoyed being here, in his arms. I was happy there. Happier than with anyone else I had been near. I had always been gay, never dated a single girl. Just guys. I knew how it felt to like someone, but Joshua made me feel beyond all my expectations. I had loved one guy before, but never like I did Josh. I dare not say anything though, I didn't want to scare him off.
I just was grateful that he wasn't as straight as I thought he was. I expected he didn't like me at all, he just thought I was the annoying guy down the hall.
I nestled in closer to Josh in an attempt to get cozier than I already was. He rested his arm on my shoulder and rested his head on mine. I felt a smile spread from cheek to cheek and I blushed, but only slightly. I turned my head to look at his face, as did he when he felt my movement on his chest.
He was the first to speak. "Thank you for last night." He said softly.
I nodded in return to his comment. "It was no problem. I should say the same to you. You were the one who kept me nice and warm all night. How was the movie?"
"Oh, God. It was Age of Ultron! It was amazing. I loved it." He answered, still locked on my gaze.
"You're the one that chose it! It was a great movie choice. I enjoyed it a lot." I was completely lost in the conversation. I just really enjoyed speaking to Joshua. He had just the right colour of eyes, the right smile, and the perfect laugh. I loved every single thing about him and he enchanted me the moment I laid my eyes on him at that bar.
I know, it all sounds so cheesy and shit, but it's completely true. I wanted to be with him until the day I lay my head to rest forever. I loved that guy, but I don't think his feelings for me were quite as strong at the time. It just needed to wait.
"Hey, Tyler, can you keep a secret? Something that I've never told anybody?" Josh asked, and I willingly nodded.
"Yeah, what's on your mind?"
"Look, I know this is going to sound crazy, but you're the first person I ever truly fell head over heels for. I've dated girls before, but they never made me feel the way you do. Promise me you'll keep that to yourself until the day you die." He confessed, and I was frozen. No words could come from my mouth. My whole body wouldn't work properly. So, instead of giving an answer, I nodded.
Finally, after about thirty seconds of just stammering like an idiot, I finally managed to say two words. "I promise."
I saw his lips curve into a smile, which caused mine to as well. It seemed that every time he smiled, I had to. He clearly noticed that.
"Good. Now, what would you like for breakfast?"
"Can you make me some waffles? There's an iron in the cupboard above the sink." I instructed him, and he gladly walked to the kitchen and grabbed the waffle iron.
A few minutes later, I heard him preparing plates and peeked over to see that he was bringing two plates of waffles over. I furrowed my brows.
"Joshua, I think you forgot the forks, knives and syrup." I pointed out, laughing a bit afterwards.
He facepalmed himself and set the plates down on the table. "I'll be right back." He said and walked back into the dimly-lit kitchen.
He returned with a bottle of maple syrup, along with two forks and two knives. I smiled and picked up my plate off the coffee table and drizzled syrup over the buttermilk waffles. I grabbed my utensils and dug into my breakfast.
I soon looked over to Josh, seeing that he was eating his waffles quite quickly. I almost choked on my waffles laughing at him.
I finished my breakfast and sat back on the couch and rested my arms beside me. Joshua did the same and looked over to me. A smile began to form on his face, his eyes crinkling at the corners. I just wanted this day to last forever so I can spend it all with him.

Sorry I was so late with this! I hope you enjoyed it. Just one question: Should they have their first kiss in the next chapter or would it be moving a bit too fast?
