Part 19 : Worst Fears

Leah's POV

It's been two months since the trip to the hospital. I'd been staying at Joe and Caspar's house. My mum came round everyday to check that I was okay. She trusted Joe and Caspar but being a mother she of course needed to see for herself.

I was laying in bed and I heard Joe wriggling beside me. I turned over so I was facing him. His hair was flopped over his eyes. He looked so cute. I blew his face making his eyelashes flutter and his eyes open. He stared at me pretending to be angry for waking him up. I just laughed. We hugged in each other's warmth until we smelt food. I got up and walked upstairs and saw my mum cooking bacon and eggs. I went and hugged her and said good morning. I walked over to the sofa and sat down. I put the news on to see what was happening in the world.

Words appeared on the screen that had haunted my dreams for weeks.

'Breaking News : Criminal Alfie Deyes has escaped high security prison.'

I immediately paused the tv and screamed for Joe crying my eyes out. He read the words and took a step back and hugged my weak body. 'Joe I can't go through that again. WE can't go through that again.'
'It's going to be okay...who says he's going to come for us.'
Caspar came rushing up the stairs to see what all the screaming was about.
'Oh sh*t. No no no no no no! This can't be happening. No not now!'
By now my mam had walked up to us to see what was happening. She burst out in to tears.

We all sat down together in shock and terror.

A/n plot twist 😂 tysm for reading. Ly ❤️ i need to know how many chapters you want me to go up to. I wasn't expecting anyone to read my story but I guess you like it. When I started writing it I thought I'd just write like 20 chapters but I don't know how many now. Should I just continue writing until I feel like it should end or do you want a set amount of chapters. Please tell me what you think in the comments 💫
