Part 33 - The Prettiest Date

Leah's POV

When morning arrived Joe opened his door causing me to fall into his room. He laughed. It was nice to see him laugh. I picked me up into his arms and hugged me tightly. 'Can we do something today?' He whispered in my ear. 'Sure, what would you like to do?' I replied. 'It's a secret. Do you trust me?'
'Of course I do!' I said with no doubt. 'Okay then go and get ready.'

I walked downstairs and got some breakfast. I ate it then went back upstairs. Me and joe had planned to stay at his parents' house overnight anyway. I walked upstairs and took a shower. Once I got out I dried myself of and put on a white flowery crop top and I pair of high waisted shorts. I dried my hair and then started applying my makeup. I used bb cream, blush, highlighter, cream eyeshadow, mascara and eyeliner. I finished everything of with my velvet teddy lipstick by Mac. It was my favourite lipstick of all time. I walked downstairs to find Joe. He was sitting in the dining room talking to his parents. I walked over to him and hugged him tightly. He got up said goodbye to his parents and leaded me into the car. I got in and he started driving. After about half an hour he made me close my eyes.

When we finally arrived Joe got out and told me to wait. I heard him open the car boot but then there was silence for about 10 minutes. He came round to my side of the car and opened the door. He pulled me out and walked me to somewhere. He told me to open my eyes and when I did I saw the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.

It was the prettiest waterfall I had ever seen. The sun glistened on it and created a rainbow. I turned around to hug Joe but he wasn't there. He was sitting on the floor a couple of meters away from me. Infront of him was a picnic basket and some plates. I ran over to him and gave him a huge hug.
'This is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me.' I said in his ear.
'Anything for you.' He replied. My heart melted as his soft words made me forget all the horrible things that had happened to us.
